Yesterday's, the Forensic Science Students Association of Nigeria (FOSSAN), Bayero University Kano, successfully hosted its 1st Symposium.

The event brought together key stakeholders from across the security and academic sectors, including representatives of the Nigeria Police Force, NDLEA, Nigeria Customs Service, the Armed Forces, other relevant parastatals, and distinguished professors and academics.

Discussions focused on the practical application of forensic science in modern investigations, security operations, and justice delivery. The symposium provided a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, professional interaction, and capacity building for students and practitioners alike.

We appreciate the presence, contributions, and support of all our guests, speakers, and participants. Events like this strengthen collaboration between academia and security institutions and reinforce the importance of science based approaches in national development.
