It's Wednesday again and we hope that last week was a week of productivity and learning.

But whilst you learn,it is very important to have your principles aligned bacause a man without discipline and principle is like a car without direction.

Last week, we emphasized that you know yourself but how can you know a person that is not defined yet so to know yourself,you must create yourself.

Create comes from the Latin word CREATUS which means to make, every man is self made.
After God created you, you are shouldered with the responsibility to remake yourself and how to do it?
By setting your principles,
By understanding your values and standing by them.
By knowing the characters that are non-negotiable for you.
By standing firm in your decision to be different.

Ultimately, to know yourself is to know your values.

So if a gun is pointed to your head right now, what is that one value that you will never compromise?

There is no extraordinary person,
We all are extraordinary, what we need to do is to put in the work and relentlessly chase the vision we have.

There is no "special" person , the only reason you think they are special is because you are finding justification to make yourself feel better about your lack of action.

There is no speciality in anyone except that they,the dream acheivers made their foes the characters that we have made friends with.

Procrastination! Mediocrity!Excusitis! these are the foes you need to make when you choose to chase your ambitions rather than staying mediocre.

Sadly,most people wake up daily procrastinating each task giving unreasonable excuses why they are medicore.

But Read!!!
GROWTH IS A PROCESS,
A process that demands stepping out of comfortability,
A process that requires sacrificing those things you hold on to tightly but aren't what you need on your journey.

Growth is not an overnight process,
It is a result of many nights and days of continual systematic process.

So at growth quest hub, we believe so much in the saying of John Henry Newman that "Growth is the only evidence of life" so it means that if you remain the same person everyday,you aren't living,you are simply here on earth.

That might hit someone right when they need it, growth is life ,not growing is equal to not living.

So make a choice,
Make foes with those characters that stops you from being who you know YOU can be.

It's Wednesday,
You must have gotten a grip of your week by now,
You are already engaged in your activities for the week
But it's never too late to restructure the week if it's not been going according to what you planned.

However,it is important for you to achieve these three things by the end of the week.

First: You must know yourself better. You must realise at least one thing about you this week that you didn't know when you stepped into the week. This might be trying out writing if you have always believed you were a bad writer or trying to throw the ball into the basket if you have always believed that you would be a terrible player.
"There are hidden treasures in you that are simply on the other side of fear. "


Second: Chat up that person that can help you. A lot of the time,we procrastinate speaking to people that we could learn from,work with or get mentorship from simply because of fear,lack of confidence or the procrastination syndrome so at least, speak to one person this week that can help you with that problem you have been hammering on, everyone needs help and sometimes, you just need the right mentorship to conquer a old problem.
"If you cannot see where you are going,ask someone who has been there before."


Third: Define your YESes and NOs this week. It's not everything you say YES to just because you want to be the KIND person.
Kindness is not about always saying YES but it's about giving out from a place of self fulfillment and selflessness so this week, don"t give out what you don't have.
Don't search for people to compliment you so much that you become unreasonably kind. Do what you can do and don't do what will affect you mentally or physically.

The little girl will grow,
Someday,she will sit at her mother's feet hearing stories of her childhood,
She would laugh wondering if she was the character of the story.

Yes,little girls do grow,
Cause two decades and a year ago,
The only representation my mother saw was a baby she had just pushed out.
Years past and this African woman raising her girl could see that her baby was growing but this time,not in her but in front of her.

She wondered how the voice that was hidden behind cries became one that responded to her talks,
How little girls grow,
Is how I grew,
How you did and
How we all are growing,
I remember crying for my mother whenever she left me to myself,
And slowly being able to leave her and go to school showed that I grew.

Meeting new people,
Having no choices but making decisions based on the yes and no that I was taught ,
How beautiful it is that my height increase is unexplainable even by the woman that knows me best.

Growth!
A word that could describe the world in its entirely,
A word that stands for me and you,
But how unfortunate,
We don't care anymore,
Watering plants that aren't worth it so they do not show that they grow,
Investing our lives and time into things that are baseless and yes, they grow but there aren't the growth we need.

Growth,
A word that identifies the beginning of life,
Until its end,
A word that can make the lowest grow,
A word if held as mantra can make the life of the nobody become a somebody because he knows that he can grow to be someone someday.

So yes,
Little girls grow,
Cause I know,
I wasn't me last year,
Yet me last year isn't the me this year.
Growth is life,
That's why we are on the quest for growth,
Creating a family of growth,
That's why we do a hub on growth.

FAITH: Are you willing to rise a thousand times after falling and failing because you KNOW where you are going.

COURAGE AND CONFIDENCE : Do you KNOW ENOUGH about what you are doing because when you are AWARE of your destination, you become more CONFIDENT about your answers and super CONVINCED about your actions.

We hope as a pregnant expecting mother, YOU have envisioned yourself as a mother with her baby(PURPOSE)in her arms.
In this case,We hope you have a VISION for your life as well as FAITH,CONVICTION AND COURAGE.

You have a responsiblity to LIVE THE BEST LIFE you possibly CAN.
