A biotech company Nanocare in Israel has invented a device called “Spincare Portable Wound System” that can create artificial skin by discharging a twisting fibers like webs that can cover burns and wounds. Unlike bandages, it allows patients to move around and even have shower. Because it is translucent: medical workers can even watch the wound healing. What an amazing invention!

It's fascinating! Growing plants vertically instead of traditional method is really fun. San Francisco agricultural-technical startup has come up with the idea of creating a farm in which agricultural food can be produced vertically in just small space with maximum yield: just 2 acres yet produce 720 acres worth of fruit and vegetables. The Light, temperature and water distribution are all controlled by AI-controlled robots. Sunlight is emulated by LED panels, so food is grown in optimal conditions 24/7. And water is recycled and evaporated water recaptured so there is virtually no waste. It is so efficient in utilizing land by 99 percent less land and 95 percent less water than in traditional agricultural processes: also, it is free from the constraints of weather, seasons, time, distance, pests, natural disasters and climate. Also GMO'S free. This could revolutionize the way we produce food in near future.

Researcher at Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology in Shenzhen, China, have published result of their findings which showed that a drug called Pralatrexate is effective against Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-), the causative agent of COVID-19. Pralatrexate which is a drug used for treatment of cancer, has proven to be more effective on Coronavirus than Remdesivir, a drug that is currently used to treat some Covid-19 patients. But, Pralatrexate generates a significant side effects when used on people with terminal lymphoma (cancer of lymphatic system): thus, its prompt use on Covid-19 patients isn't ensured. However, the new computational drug screening technique used in the study is promising: so, it could be use for screening of potential drugs for treatment of COVID-19.

A novel computational drug screening strategy combined with lab experiments suggest that pralatrexate, a chemotherapy medication originally developed to treat lymphoma, could potentially be repurposed to treat Covid-19.
