In today's lesson, we are going to see the meaning of some phrases and how to used them in real life sentences
1.) CLEAR UP
To tide up or make a place clean.
EXAMPLES
1. Musa did not clear up this class
2. Make sure you clear up this mess before leaving.
2.) COME ON
To be quicker
EXAMPLES
1. My birthday will come on a Friday this year.
2. Come on let's go, we don't have much time.
3.) HANG ON
To wait
EXAMPLES
1. Hang on, are you talking to me like that?
2. Please hang on, let me call my husband.
4.) WATCH OUT
To be aware or conscious;
EXAMPLES
1. Watch out for low doorways, so you don’t hit your head.
2. Whenever you want to cross the road watch out for drunken drivers.
5.) WAKE UP
To awaken somebody.
EXAMPLES
1. Wake your brother up; it's time for school.
2. Go to bed and no one will wake you up.
6.) GET UP
To rise from one's bed.
EXAMPLES
1. I didn't get up until midday.
2. Get your head up from that bed and bring yourself to the kitchen right now.
7.) STAY UP
To remain awake, to not go to bed.
EXAMPLES
1. My plane leaves at 6:00 in the morning, so I plan to stay up until then and sleep on the plane.
2. I can't stay up for matter the reason might be, love sleep.
3. She stayed up past her bedtime.
8.) DRINK UP
to finish one's drink.
EXAMPLES
1.The bar's closing now, so drink up!
2. Drink up, we got plenty of juice.
