DIGITAL LITERACY TRAINING FOR COMMUNITY LEADERS IN JEMA’A LGA
Fantsuam Foundation is pleased to bring this opportunity of digital literacy training to our community leaders. We are providing this intensive training, free of charge, to 50 community leaders comprising 35 males and 15 females. Each participant will also be offered a chance to purchase a brand new smartphone at 50% discount.
The objectives of this training are

2. Each participant will use their newly acquired knowledge and skills to support the establishment of a Community Network, CN, in their community
The digital literacy aspect will cover the basic knowledge and skills required to safely use the computer and navigate the internet.
A Community Network, CN, is a communication infrastructure that is owned, managed and maintained by the community. Therefore. each participant should come knowing that they will return home to lead and support the establishment of their own CN. We hope through this program we shall soon have a network of Community Networks all over Jema’a LGA. We can then repeat this model throughout the LGAs of Kaduna State.
