The Fruits Day Celebration was not just a day of fun, but a vital practical learning experience. Our children:

Learned about the health benefits of various fruits and the importance of healthy eating habits.

Explored Allah’s wonderful creations through taste, color, and texture.

Developed social skills by sharing and interacting with their peers and teachers in a vibrant, festive environment.

Most importantly, our students felt incredibly special, loved, and motivated seeing their parents actively involved in their school life.

More Than Fruits: A Celebration of Every Child’s Uniqueness

It was a beautiful and memorable moment yesterday as Darus-salam International Schools, Kaduna, celebrated her maiden Fruits Day with joy, creativity, and valuable life lessons.

One of the highlights of the event was how the children used fruits to explain the psychology of life. They demonstrated that just as fruits differ in taste, colour, flavour, shape, and nutritional value, every child possesses unique gifts, intelligence, and beauty. No two fruits are the same, and neither are two children. Rather than compare them, parents and teachers should strive to identify, nurture, and celebrate each child's uniqueness and potential.

Our sincere appreciation goes to the parents who honoured their children with their presence and contributed immeasurably to the success of this maiden event. Their support added warmth and significance to the occasion.

Indeed, it was more than a celebration of fruits; it was a celebration of diversity, individuality, and the limitless potential inherent in every child. Kudos to the management, staff, parents, and pupils of Darus-salam International Schools, Kaduna, for making the day both colourful and inspiring.
