Distinguished parents, esteemed teachers, dear students, and pupils of De Quiver International Foundation Schools, Nissi Village, Kaduna,
As we resume into a new academic calendar, I warmly welcome you all back to school. I hope you had a refreshing and rejuvenating long vacation break. As we begin this new academic year, I want to reflect on the challenges we faced in the last academic session and celebrate our achievements.
In the last academic session, we encountered significant challenges, including the damage to the roofs of both our nursery and secondary sections, which was a setback for us. The establishment of our WAEC examination center was capital-intensive, and there were delays in staff salaries. Additionally, we faced challenges with the organization of our speech and prize-giving day, which did not meet our expectations. Despite these hurdles, we persevered and, by Godโs grace, we achieved remarkable success.
Our senior students who sat for the WAEC examination excelled, with all of them passing with excellence and distinction. Notably, 100% of our students passed Mathematics and English, and the least of our students obtained seven credits. This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students and teachers.
Furthermore, our junior students also excelled in their BECE examination, demonstrating a high level of academic excellence and potential. These outstanding results have given us the encouragement and motivation to push forward despite our challenges.
As we begin this new academic year, I want to assure our parents and staff that we are committed to overcoming our past challenges. We kindly request your patience and understanding as we work tirelessly to strengthen our schoolโs foundation. Together, we can build a formidable community through this institution.
To our parents, I urge you to support us by ensuring timely payment of fees for your wards. This will enable us to our studentsโ academic success. Additionally, please ensure that your children come to school with all the required writing materials and textbooks. It is also essential that your children have their lunch boxes with them to school, as this will enable them to stay focused and energized throughout the day.
To our teachers, I commend your dedication and hard work. Let us continue to give our best, and by Godโs grace, we shall be rewarded accordingly.
To our students, as you settle into the new academic year, remember to eat well, dress well, study well, and rest well. Letโs focus on our academic and personal growth, and uphold the values of our school culture, including proper dressing and punctuality.
I wish everyone a successful and fulfilling academic year 2025/2026. Letโs work together to make this year better than ever.
Thank you, and may God bless us all.
Yours in service,
Pastor Dr. Bobai Emmanuel Mathew
Director, De Quiver International Foundation Schools
