Kaduna State Ministry of Education has held its monthly Expanded Management Meeting with heads of education sector agencies across the state, chaired by the Honourable Commissioner of Education.

The meeting provided a platform to review key issues affecting the education sector, deliberate on emerging challenges, proffer solutions and recommendations, and strengthen coordination among various agencies.

Discussions also focused on planned activities and strategies for improving service delivery and advancing the state's education sector priorities.

The meeting reaffirmed the Ministry's commitment to effective coordination, responsive leadership and continuous improvement in education service delivery across Kaduna State.

National Association of Nigerian Colleges of Education Students confers Award of Excellence on HC, Professor Abubakar Sani Sambo.

The award was in recognition of Professor Sambo's extraordinary support to students in Kaduna State and for serving as a role model and mentor to many.

In a related development, the School Based Management Committee of Government Secondary School, Nasarawan Rigachikun has presented another award to Professor Abubakar Sani Sambo, in recognition of his contributions towards the upliftment of the standard of Education in Kaduna State.

The Award was presented by the school's SBMC Chairman, Mal. Nasir Umar Alhaji at the Ministry's Conference Room

The Honourable Commissioner of Education, Kaduna State, Professor Abubakar Sani Sambo , alongside the Director General of the Kaduna State Schools Quality Assurance Authority, Prof. Usman Abubakar Zaria, have monitored the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) at Tulip International Colleges, Al-Manar Academy, and Kaduna Capital School.

The monitoring exercise revealed that the examination has been conducted in a peaceful, orderly, and hitch-free atmosphere across the visited centres. Candidates were observed writing their examinations under conducive conditions, while examination officials demonstrated professionalism and strict adherence to the examination guidelines.

The seamless conduct of the examination is a testament to the unwavering commitment of the Kaduna State Government, under the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Senator Dr. Uba Sani, to strengthening the education sector.

Through sustained investments in educational infrastructure, effective policy implementation, and robust support for examination bodies, the administration continues to create an enabling environment for quality teaching, learning, and assessment.

The Kaduna State Ministry of Education commends school administrators, teachers, examination officials, security personnel, parents, and all stakeholders for their cooperation in ensuring the successful conduct of the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination.

The Ministry remains committed to upholding excellence, transparency, and integrity in the state's education system.

These engagements go beyond courtesy visits, they represent opportunities to strengthen teaching and learning, empower educators, support students, and drive innovation across the education sector.

๐Ÿ“š ANGUWAN SHANU COMMUNITY RALLIES TO GET EVERY CHILD INTO SCHOOL

In a renewed commitment to tackle the challenge of out-of-school children in Kaduna State, the Kaduna State Ministry of Education, with support from the Human Capital Development Plus (HCD+) Programme, today held a Community Advocacy and Sensitization Town Hall Meeting in Kawo Community.

The event brought together traditional and religious leaders, community leaders, parents, women and youth groups, School-Based Management Committees (SBMCs), civil society organizations, and government officials to discuss practical solutions for increasing the enrolment and retention of children in school.

Speaking at the event, stakeholders emphasized that education is a shared responsibility and called on parents, guardians, and community leaders to work together to ensure that no child is left behind. Participants also made collective commitments to identify out-of-school children within their communities and support their return to the classroom.

The advocacy campaign is part of ongoing efforts by the Kaduna State Government to strengthen community ownership and accelerate progress towards achieving universal access to quality basic education for every child.

Together, we can build stronger communities and a brighter future; 'one child, one classroom, one opportunity at a time.'

๐Ÿ“ข OFFICIAL RELEASE OF THE 2026 BECE TIMETABLE: Traditional Paper-and-Pen BECE

โœ… Following the successful completion of the 2026 BECE Hybrid Computer-Based and Paper-Based Examinations, KSSQAA has released the timetable for the Paper-and-Pen BECE scheduled for 22ndโ€“29th June 2026.

Candidates, schools, and parents are advised to take note and prepare accordingly.

HC, Professor Abubakar Sani Sambo monitors the National Common Entrance Examinations (NCEE) in selected schools(Examination Centres) in Kaduna State.

The exams were conducted in the following centres across the state; Queen Amina College, Kaduna, Federal Government College Malali and Federal Government Girls' College, Zaria, Command Children's Primary School, Kaduna and St. Annes Secondary School Kakuri, Kaduna.

The monitoring exercise is organized by the Quality Assurance Department, National Examinations Council (NECO), the body overseeing the conduct of the NCEE

Hon. Commissioner of Education, Professor Abubakar Sani Sambo has inaugurated the State Digitized National Education Management Information System (DNEMIS) Coordination Team.

DNEMIS is a transformative platform aimed at modernizing education data collection, management, and utilization across the country, introduced by the Federal Ministry of Education.

The newly inaugurated team will provide leadership and coordination for the collection, validation, analysis, and reporting of credible education data, particularly through the Annual School Census and other education management information activities.

The success of this initiative will enhance Kaduna State's ability to accurately identify gaps, track progress, attract investments, and improve educational outcomes for all learners in Kaduna State.
