KOWA HIGH SCHOOL BIRNIN GWARI, KADUNA STATE. UNG. HARUNA DAN ZURU

The school comprises four houses including
1.bronze house
2.diamond
3.gold and
4.silver house.
During the 2022/2023 the school had the following competitions/programmes
1.Quiz
2.Pronunciation
3.Spelling-bee
4 English passage reading
The above named programmes are both for senior & junior category.
After the accomplishment of the competitions:
GOLD HOUSE decleared the the overall best.
DIAMOND HOUSE emerged the second overall best.
BRONZE HOUSE won the third overall best.
The house masters and the students from the above named houses really tried and dedicated themselves during the competitions.we have no words to use in terms of extending our gratitude to them...but we will just say an enormous gratitude to them and congratulations in advanced....we wish them more victories ahead.

KOWA HIGH SCHOOL SECOND TERM SCHOOL PROGRAMS,2021.
The school houses which includes:
BRONZE HOUSE
DIAMOND HOUSE
GOLD HOUSE AND
SILVER HOUSE
The above houses participated in the following programs of the term which categorised into curriculum and non curriculum activities.
CURRICULUM ACTIVITIES INCLUDES: Inter house,
Spelling B
Pronunciation
Quiz competition
Impromptu speech
NON CURRICULUM ACTIVITIES INCLUDES: Inter house
Egg racing
Sack racing
Thug of war
Coke drinking
Football matches.
In all the programs, the scores where finally cumulated from day one to day three of the programs where each house comes out with the following total result:
GOLD HOUSE:
SILVER HOUSE:
DIAMOND HOUSE:
BRONZE HOUSE:
Therefore, at the end of the programs GOLD HOUSE declared the overall winner of the school second term activities.

SPEECH BY THE PRINCIPAL, KOWA HIGH SCHOOL FOR THE 2020 GRADUATING CLASS

Ladies and gentleman, let me thank you all for accepting to share this day with us,this has been long in coming but,today we are relieved and overjoyed at last as we celebrate with the 2020 graduating class.

A graduation ceremony is always a special occasion, it is the culmination of years of hard work, the actualization of goals attained and the acknowledgement of successes achieved, who can forget when you all came together for the first time. Nervous young students of JSS1, but here we are today a graduating class of 2020. It has been a journey with tentative steps perhaps, but it has led us to a remarkable height.

This had been possible as a result of the effort and hard work of dedicated staff body of the school who have been steadfast, resolute and well determined to come together with a common goal of encouraging and developing lifelong learning in the individuals who sit before us this day. The end result, Ladies and gentleman of our coming together and working together in spite of the obstacles that we may have faced along the way is the graduating class 2020, with this say thank you to the staff of the school.

How proud we are of the success that you have made the graduating class of 2020 may your years ahead continue to be characterized by empathy, compassion, objectivity and willingness to take risks, may you always lead by example, work hard and play straight. Congratulations! We are very proud of you all, your's is the future and on you the world will come to depend.
