PLATEAU STATE GOVERNMENT FURTHER RELAXES CURFEW IN JOS-BUKURU METROPOLIS
The Plateau State Government has announced a further relaxation of the curfew imposed on the Jos-Bukuru metropolis, reflecting the recent improvements in the security situation in the area.
Effective from Wednesday , August 14, 2024, residents are now allowed to carry out their lawful activities between the hours of 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM daily, pending further review.
This decision was taken by His Excellency, Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, after extensive consultations with security agencies. The Governor expressed his deep appreciation to the people of Plateau State for their steadfast patriotism and cooperation during these challenging times.
Governor Mutfwang also commended the security personnel for their dedication and professionalism in enforcing the curfew. He called on all residents to continue their collaboration with security agencies to ensure the ongoing safety and security of lives and property.

The Plateau State Government has announced a further relaxation of the curfew imposed on the Jos-Bukuru metropolis.
As from Tuesday, August 13, 2024, residents are permitted to engage in their lawful activities from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily, pending further review.
This decision was reached by His Excellency, Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, in consultations with security agencies and key stakeholders. The Governor emphasized that this step reflects the government’s confidence in the improved security situation and its commitment to restoring normalcy across the state.
Governor Mutfwang expressed his profound gratitude to the people of Plateau State for their unwavering patriotism, resilience, and cooperation during the period of the curfew. He urged all residents to maintain their collaboration with security agencies to ensure the continued safety and security of lives and property.
