Dear job/internship seeker,
1. Do not forward the same CV to tens of companies (more annoying putting them in cc or bcc)
2. Do not attach only your cv to your email without writing anything in its body
3. Do not chat the CEO of a company up on their personal whatsapp, instagram or other social media pages. Except you have made some initial contacts. You don't just show up in someone's DM to ask for a job. I have not know anyone who got a job that way
4. Do not call an personal line or even an office line at odd hours of the day to ask for likely job openings. This will most likely reduce your chances of getting a job.
5. Before you make a job inquiry call, Skype meeting or interview, get your thoughts together. Use a notepad if you need to. If "ermm" is part of your normal lingual, put it on hold for that moment it makes you sound quite unintelligent.
All that I put up there are some of the torments I face daily and you can't know how exhausting it is until you receive a call from someone seeking internship by 11 pm in the night.
Just put yourself in the person's shoes and think "if I were to be the owner of this business, would I like to employ someone like myself? "
