CALENDULA: Champions of the year.
Yesterday, the 20th of February 2020, was another remarkable day in the history of Bernard International Montessori School Jos.

The school has overtime seen and understood the relevance of integrating sports activities into the learning experiences of its students. Besides identifying and nurturing the athletic abilities in some of her students, the school has decided to dedicate time for the entire school community to experience an all-together sporting event. To achieve this feat, the school has embraced inter-house sports competition.

The inter-house sports competition is an annual event organised by the management of BIMS Jos in collaboration with the Parent Teachers Association(PTA) of the school, some professionals from the Plateau state sports team, and other well meaning supportive individuals. The competition has lots of competitive activities prepared to have the various houses of the school compete against one another. Other schools in Jos were also invited. Some parents participated in 100metres race.

At the end of the event champions are decided based on the assessments of their cumulative performances.

Last year[https://www.facebook.com/1783025351982714/posts/2046817998936780/?app=fbl], Mystical Rose(red house) performed outstandingly and earned themselves the first position. But this year was different in a special way.
The results are as follows:
1st- Calendula(green house)
2nd- Sundrop(yellow house)
3rd- Little Flower(pink house)
4th- Daisy(blue house)
5th- Mystical Rose(red house)

The event was filled with lots of fun activities. The school hopes to make the event better than it was this year.

These wonderful kids of the prestigious Bernard International Montessori school Jos(BIMS) had a niche carved out for them to participate in the High-flyers Mathematics competition 2019 edition. Our fingers are crossed in wait for the release of the result.

Thanks to the staff who came along with us and also the proprietor of the school for granting her students the permission to partake in this.
