I was reflecting on some NSO proverbs, idioms and similie and this particular similie caught my attention : when you get home and people are just watching you with awe because they regret having written you off at one point you can say;
" a lei mo mooh vibu'h vi lei nyar" that is THEY WERE LOOKING AT ME AS THE BABOONS STARE AT THE DEAR.
Try to paint the mental picture of this.

When l saw the Ghanaian name Kofi l thought within me that one day we shall come across KOKI as a name. This lead me into trying to do a critique on the name of the late Arch Bishop of Jos where l realized we could have the Nso / Panso version of the name - KOKEKI. l suggest this Nso name for any gender The late Arch Bishop's name is "Ganaka" in Hausa meaning "take yours"

We always use limiting words, statements and Proverbs in Lamnso, but you can change that and be positive. We do say "wir ko'h ten fer kfer mbang" that is if someone is on a Palm tree harvesting all the goodies that the tree brings ,his brother below should at least be given kernels. Why must he be given only the least of the products of the palm tree. I think we should say " wir ko'h ten fer yi mengwer" (mengwer =Palm oil )
"B**g ke kan a Mo b**g ke mbuy a ? "Which do you choose that of the monkey or that of the baboon to show that you are not afraid of fighting . This is the short statement from merchants of conflicts. They just have sadistic tendencies
