Peakfield Academy’s female learners were honoured to participate in the International Girls in ICT Day Seminar held at the Plateau State Government House, where they were encouraged to develop greater interest and confidence in pursuing careers in ICT and technology-related fields.

The seminar challenged the long-standing stereotype that ICT is a “man’s world,” while exposing the girls to the limitless opportunities available in the tech industry. They were also inspired by the stories of remarkable women who have made significant impact in technology, including Ada Lovelace, Grace Hopper, Sheryl Sandberg, and Susan Wojcicki — women whose achievements continue to shape the digital world.

It was an enlightening and inspiring experience for our learners, reinforcing the importance of empowering girls to become innovators, creators, and leaders in the future of technology.

Today, we had the pleasure of hosting Keystone Bank Ltd for the Global Money Week mentoring program, in alignment with the Central Bank of Nigeria's (CBN) financial literacy initiative.

Our students benefited from hands-on guidance on saving, budgeting, and making informed financial decisions during an interactive session that fostered curiosity and critical thinking.

We extend our gratitude to the Keystone Bank team for equipping our students with the necessary tools to navigate the financial landscape with confidence. 🚀

Peakfield Academy is pleased to announce that admissions are now open for the 2026/2027 academic session into Junior Secondary School 1 (JHS1) and other available classes.

As part of our admission process, the first entrance examination is scheduled as follows:

Date: Saturday, 18th April, 2026
Time: 8:00 AM prompt

Prospective students are encouraged to come along with the necessary writing materials and arrive early to ensure a smooth process.

We are delighted to acknowledge the exceptional accomplishments of two of our Senior High School learners who participated in the prestigious Champions Mathematics Competition in February 2026, representing Peakfield Academy.

Notably, David Mapis achieved an impressive 2nd place, while Daniel Mapis secured a commendable 5th place, among over 120 participants.
