CONDOLENCE MESSAGE FROM MASHEGU WAKE UP.

Tuesday, 24th June 2025, was a black day for Niger State, Our hearts are heavy over the tragic killing of 20 gallant soldiers by bandits in Mariga LGA.

On behalf of the entire Mashegu Wake Up movement, we extend our deepest condolences to the families of the fallen heroes, the Nigerian Army, and the people of Niger State — especially Niger North. These brave men gave their lives in service to protect our land, and their sacrifice will not be forgotten.

We are also calling on the federal and state governments to act swiftly and decisively to ensure that such a terrible incident does not happen again, Security must be strengthened across all vulnerable areas, and the safety of our people must be treated as a top priority.

May Allah grant the departed eternal rest and protect our nation from such sorrow in the future.
