TCFA Outshine Bitty Young Stars in Friendly Match

TCFA on 9th April, 2026 outclass Bitty Young Stars Academy of Sabon Barki in Jos South L. G. A. when in the U13 category match played TCFA were forced to a 2-2 draw after 60 minutes of soccer display in both halves of the match.

Kick-off by the TCFA U13 Team was by 10.15am with the home team mounting early pressure in the 1st 15 minutes of the match but poor finishing in post kept the hope of the TCFA Lads. The Bitty Young Boys attackers were misfiring in goal when they approach the goal post area with the TCFA Goalkeeper brilliantly stopping most of their weak shots.

Following this uncertainty by the home team the TCFA took advantage to change the course of the game towards their opponents half and it was not long after a built up that a free kick was awarded to TCFA. Satyang Gyang-Dusu scored from the kick to hand TCFA the lead in the 20th minute. Pressure resume back to the TCFA half after the goal but as usual nothing came out of it untill the end of the 1st half.

The 2nd half was more action packed with the home team desperately searching for the equaliser while TCFA were trying to defend the lone goal lead. 15 minutes into the 2nd half Satyang made it a brace when he was set on the run on a well taken free kick from the midfield and speed faster than the defence lineup to increase the tally for his team. This time the home team seem to have given up after the 2 goals as play tempo was low and just as the TCFA taught they will emerge the day's match winner their goalkeeper made a blunder 5 minutes from regulation time when a weak shot directed to him went off his hands due to casual approach to catching the ball and this was how the visitors came back alive with re-enacted pressure which earned them a corner kick. In an effort to kick out the delivered corner kick Miss Jemima Musa control the ball with her hand by the shoulder inside the box and the resultant penalty kick ensured Bitty Young Stars came back to level terms.
The match ended 1 minute after the restart to end scores at 2-2 draw.

In the 2nd Match which was an U15 category TCFA dominated play right from the kick off but could not get the back of the net after several of their attacking and defending force kept encroaching their opponents half and goal area until the end of the 1st half.

On resumption of play in the 2nd half restart TCFA Lads kept their hope alive and still maintain dominance in possession and play which Attacking Midfielder Godwin Caleb aggressively used his skills to force an offensive attack which he got 2 goals to his credit in quick succession within 2 minutes to stir the players into more purposeful artistry with everyone surprise by the miraculous 2 goals within 2 minutes and reckoning with the superlative performance of Godwin Caleb.
The home team made daring efforts to match play with TCFA but pressure was rather more on them and it was now evident that they were under intense pressure.

The match ended 2-0 in favour of TCFA at full time.

TCFA Vs CHS MATCH

COCIN High School (CHS) Dahwol Dangwong Football Team on Friday 2nd March, 2026 at the TCFA Field neutralise 2 missiles fired by Tin City Football Academy (TCFA) but could not stop the 3rd missile which came barely 2 minutes to end of the match in the U15 category to end the match 3-2 in favour of the TCFA boys who showed a better classified display in the friendly match.

The match was a local derby arrange to strengthened football ties within Dahwol Dangwong Community.

The match which kick off by 5. 27pm proved the maturity of footballing of the two sides with each team hoping to open scores. But the build up pressure on the CHS team could not yield positively due to misfiring from the TCFA attack with the CHS getting just a minute chance on goal that was not tormenting hence the first half ended goalless.

In the second half both teams definitely received technical briefings and with few changes from both Team's Reserves, hostilities continued with Yusuf Abdulsalam opening scores for TCFA via a flicked shot from the left flank which he diverted 6 yards from goal posts that beat the CHS goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the 2nd half.

Pressure continue building on the CHS despite that opening goal and a perfect cross by Yakubu John from the left flank found TCFA's Right winger Nissi Daling unmarked as he headed thankfully just 1 yard from the post when the CHS Goalkeeper and his defenders left the goal post area for aerial battle on the ball descending from high above everyone. The 2-0 scoreline in less than 20 minutes of 2nd half play was not acceptable to the CHS boys hence with few substitutions initiated and with the TCFA lads rushing to increase the tally a counter attack initiated tore the TCFA defence manned by Japhet Istifanus with CHS Pam Isaac left one-on-one with TCFA Goalkeeper Ayomide Baderin, Pam Isaac's Grounder shot at goal to the left of the goalkeeper gave a liveline hope to the CHS team that they can do better. Truly they did better as the duo of Aaron Ayuba and Azi Musa mounted pressure and just 3 minutes after their first goal the equalizer came from a powerful tapping off the boot of Azi Musa courtesy of a pull out from the right wing at close range.

But just as spectators were begining to leave the field in anticipation of a drawn match the CHS Boys made a move to eventually score the winner and went again like wild locust but another slide counter from the TCFA Lads saw a corner kick that was to be the match decider as Yakubu John's perfect corner kick that landed the central part of the post had many defending and attacking players gyarating both to clear and to score and the resultant goal melee saw Nissi Daling backing the post simply tapping a light shot from 5 yards at goal to end the match score 3-2 in favour of his team TCFA. Nissi Daling who has not scored a goal for his team before became the man of the match and the man of the goals as he scored a brace in the days match.

THE U13 CATEGORY MATCH

Earlier in the preceding U13 match played with kickoff by 4.37pm CHS central defender Selbol who is the oldest player on the pitch scored the only goal of the match midway into the 2nd half when he overlap from the defence to beat every other TCFA player including over powering the defence with his strength to unlease a perfect grounder shot that beat TCFA Goalkeeper srael Istifanus in post. 7 minutes after the goal TCFA had opportunity to level scores but their Attacker Joseph Pam could not net in the ball into goal for technical deficiency as he was not clinical enough in the one-on-one chance he got from a wing pull out such that the CHS goalkeeper came and pick the bouncing ball from him when he could not head the ball into the net and could not control it on the ground as the attacker was left a laughing stock for his poor attitudinal display at goal.

The match therefore ended 1-0 in favour of CHS.
