On Friday, the High School of Patris Empowerment Initiative, Kingdom Citizens’ College (KCC) gathered for one of our most meaningful traditions — the Rite of Passage (ROP).

At Patris and KCC, ROP is more than a ceremony; it is a guided journey that prepares our learners for the next stage of their personal, academic, and social growth. This session, each class group stepped into powerful conversations designed just for them:

SS3 – OWNING THEIR FUTURE
Our graduating class explored strategies for excelling in external assessments — from disciplined study habits to smart exam techniques that build confidence and produce excellent results.

SS1 & SS2 – LEADERSHIP THROUGH SERVICE
Learners reflected on what true leadership really means: serving others. They discovered that greatness isn’t in titles, but in the impact they make.

JSS2 & JSS3 – GROWING UP WITH WISDOM
As they approach puberty, our young teens learned about hygiene, self-respect, and building healthy, respectful relationships across genders.

JSS1 & PRE-COLLEGE– CHARACTER FIRST
The youngest group embraced lessons on respect, manners, and everyday etiquette — the foundations of character that shape responsible citizens.

From thoughtful conversations to reflective moments, the ROP reminded us why functional education matters. We are raising learners who think, lead, grow, and live with purpose.

Last Friday, the gates of our elementary school and our high school, Kingdom Citizens' International School (KCIS) and Kingdom Citizens’ College (KCC) opened wide for our termly Open Day, which marks the conclusion of the first half of the term — a great opportunity for parents as partners in our transformation drive to connect with the instructors, celebrate achievements, and gain insight into their children’s academic journey.

Our dedicated instructors gave detailed overviews of learners’ performance, sharing both milestones, strength and weak areas, while parents appreciated the opportunity to see firsthand the impact of our transformational approach to education.
It was a day filled with pride, reflection, and partnership — beautifully rounding off the first half of the term as our learners begin their Half-Term Break!
