Today, one of our student David Tengya, a student of Tamara's Fairview in Grade 9 gave a presentation on the reasons why soil does not produce as much when crops are planted on it repeatedly. Soil is very important for plant growth because it supplies crops with nutrients, water, and support. However, when the same soil is used continuously without proper management, its productivity can reduce.
In this presentation, David explained some of the factors that cause soil to lose its ability to produce good crop yields, such as loss of nutrients, soil erosion, poor farming practices and other reasons. Understanding these reasons will help us learn how farmers can improve soil fertility and maintain good crop production.

Yesterday, our school joyfully observed International Women’s Day, celebrating the resilience, achievements, and invaluable contributions of women in our society.
With this year’s inspiring theme, “Give to Gain – When We Give, We Gain,” we encouraged our students to reflect on the power of generosity, kindness, and support in building a more equal and empowering world.
Our female students beautifully brought the celebration to life by dressing as their female heroes and mentors, symbolizing inspiration, strength, leadership, and purpose. It was truly a wonderful moment of learning, creativity, and appreciation for the remarkable women who continue to shape our world.

We are excited to share an outstanding student-led chemistry project developed by our learners — Tamara’s Fungicure, a simple and effective antifungal product formulated from inorganic chemicals.
This innovative project reflects our commitment to hands-on, practical education. Through this exercise, our students applied core chemical concepts, sharpened their problem-solving skills, and demonstrated creativity by combining common chemicals to develop a real-world solution for treating fungal infections.
