Happy 30th to an extraordinary person, myself! , I celebrate not only another year of life but also the incredible journey I've embarked on. As I reflect on the past and look forward to the future, I can't help but feel immense gratitude for the blessings in my life.

First and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to my loving wife. You have been my rock, my support, and my inspiration. Your presence in my life fills each day with joy and love. Thank you for being my partner in all adventures, big and small. Your unwavering belief in me and your constant encouragement have propelled me forward in ways I never thought possible. I am forever grateful to have you by my side.

FCE JAMAARE: BAUCHI GOVERNOR PLEDGES FULL SUPPORT FOR SMOOTH TAKE OFF

Bauchi state government has declared total support for the smooth take off of the new Federal College of Education in Jamaare Local government area of the state.

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed gave the assurance today when he received in audience, officials from the Federal Ministry of Education who paid his a courtesy visit at the Government House Bauchi.

The Governor who spoke through his Deputy, Senator Baba Tela said establishment of such institution will go along way in meeting the educational needs of the state.

According to him, as part of efforts to restore the lost glory of education sector in the state, his administration has taken a number of steps to ensure improvement in teaching and learning particularly in basic education.

Governor Bala Mohammed explained that, the state of emergency declared in the education sector is yielding positive results as government is witnessing progress in the delivery of qualitative education.

" I wish to on behalf of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Bauchi state, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, the Government and people of Bauchi state to receive you on this courtesy visit, your visit is so much importance to us as government.

" Since the coming of this administration, we have given priority to education, in fact we have declared state of emergency in the sector and I am happy to inform you that we are seeing the benefit of that.

" The importance of Colleges of education cannot be over emphasized and therefore our administration will continue to partner with partners in the renovations and rehabilitations of our schools.

He assured that, government will not relent in providing the required infrastructure for conducive environment to teachers so as to enable them impact sound knowledge to citizens.

The Governor recalled that, on the inception of the administration, education is one of the priority areas and assured of more collaboration with critical stakeholders to achieve the desired objectives.

" I want to use this medium to request the Federal Ministry of Education to consider bringing back, colleges for training of teachers in a bid to overcome the challenges facing teaching profession in our country.

" I thank President Muhammadu Buhari for finding Jamaare worthy for the establishment of the college, and we acknowledge the efforts of the Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu and indeed any other person who is connected or assisted in this development. "

In a remark, the leader of the delegation who is the Director, Tertiary Education of the Federal Ministry of Education, Mr Joel Ojo said the visit to the state is to inspect facilities at the proposed site of the institution in Jama'are local government area ahead of commencement of academic activities in october of this year.

" Your Excellency, we are happy with the level of preparedness and we also appreciate the hospitality extended to us by Jamaare community.

The State Commissioner of Education, Dr Aliyu Tilde who led the delegation for the courtesy visit, applauded stakeholders who contributed immensely
towards the actualisation of the institution.
