We are excited to announce that we will be delivering a 1-Day specialized capacity-building training for academic and non-academic staff of Post-graduate studies at the Federal University of Lokoja.
Last month, we engaged the university’s leadership to explore strategic opportunities for strengthening institutional growth, with a strong focus on staff development. As a leader in capacity development, Research Enterprise Systems is proud to support this initiative.
The goal for us is simple: to build leaders at every level who create environments where both individuals and institutions can make meaningful impact.

Most of us don’t think about the air we breathe until something goes wrong. Here’s what the data says, and what we can do about it.
According to the 78th World Health Assembly, 99% of the world’s population is breathing air that falls below recommended quality standards. That translates to nearly 7 million lives lost every year. And beyond health, it’s quietly draining productivity, raising healthcare costs, and hitting the communities that can least afford it hardest.
The solutions exist. Stricter emissions standards, clean cooking access, and stronger monitoring systems can genuinely save lives.

Our Executive Director, Professor Fatai Aremu, was invited by the Commandant of the National Institute for Security Studies (NISS) to deliver a lecture to senior participants of the Executive Intelligence Management Course Nineteen (EIMC 19).
The EIMC 19 is a distinguished cohort drawn from the Military, Paramilitary, Law Enforcement, Security and Intelligence Community, and Federal Government Agencies, alongside their counterparts from across Africa, all at the rank of Deputy Director and above.
The lecture, titled “Illicit Financial Flows, Ethnic Militias and Resource Competition in Africa: Implications for Regional Security,” examined the dangerous convergence of three interlocking crises threatening continental stability. His session explored how illicit financial flows, averaging $88.6 billion annually from Africa, intersect with ethnic militia economies and resource contestation to form a self-financing conflict architecture that weakens states from within.
Discussions also spanned the typologies of illicit financial flows, the operational logic of ethnic militias, and resource curse dynamics fuelling insecurity across the continent.
As Africa faces critical security challenges, Research Enterprise Systems remains committed to engaging with Africa’s foremost security institutions and contributing to the critical conversations shaping our collective security future.

If we told you that, according to the IMF’s January 2026 WEO Update, Nigeria’s economy is projected to grow by 4.4% in 2026, you might raise an eyebrow, understandably so, given the current economic realities.
Still, data does not deal in sentiment; it reflects possibilities shaped by policy choices, fiscal discipline, and institutional effectiveness.
That projection is not a promise, but a signal. If the right decisions are made, including some shared in these carousel slides, the numbers can begin to align with lived realities.

For two consecutive years, 2024 and 2025, we have trained over 6,000 legislative aides of the National Assembly, strengthening the often unseen backbone of Nigeria’s democracy. These are the researchers, drafters, and analysts who work tirelessly behind every lawmaker.
Our approach was adaptive, participatory, and firmly context-driven. From bill scrutiny and budget oversight to emotional intelligence and professional conduct, each session was designed to move participants beyond knowledge acquisition toward meaningful behavioral change.
We learned as much as we taught, and we documented it all.
If you work in governance, legislative development, or institutional capacity building, our latest Learning Piece is for you.
Download it now to explore the lessons, outcomes, and the blueprint we are building for democratic institutions across Africa.
