Richard’s Brace Returns Ileogbo United to Winning Ways in Sixth week

Ileogbo United returned to winning ways in the sixth week of the Nationwide League One campaign with a 2-1 comeback victory over Ase Ridyem FC to secure all three points.

Ase Ridyem FC drew first scored in the 15th minute after capitalizing on an attacking move to take the lead.

The early goal put pressure on Ileogbo United, but the team responded positively by pushing forward in search of an equaliser in the second half.

The turning point of the match came through Uzorka Richard, who delivered an outstanding performance for Ileogbo United.

The forward netted twice to complete a brilliant brace, overturning the deficit and handing his side a deserved victory.

The victory marks Ileogbo United’s second win since the start of the Nationwide League One season and will serve as a major boost to the team’s confidence going into subsequent fixtures.
