*AT-TAQWA COLLEGE INVITES ALL AND SUNDRY TO HER 2ND ANNUAL QURAN AND QUIZ COMPETITION*
The management, staff and students of At-Taqwah Model College, through the Literary and Debate Committee of the school hereby invite the general populace of Iwo and environs to her 2nd Annual Internal Qur'an and Quiz Competition.
The program which would hold on Sunday, 5th of January, 2020 is the second of its type since inception last year.
The program which is aimed at showcasing the Quranic and academic prowess of the school would see the best three students from each class contest for the mantle of leadership in a question and answer contest.
The Mudhir of the school, Mallam Muhammad Abiola while making comments on the program praised the initiative and remarked that it would make other students put more effort to their studies and which will in turn make the school produce more brilliant and sound products.
The Principal, Mr Hamzat Opeyemi, while making his own comments charged all parents to attend the program and most especially the parents of the contestants as their presence will give their wards more encouragement, motivation and support to compete at their utmost abilities.
The chairman of the Literary and Debate Committee, Mr Hussain Abdul-Aleem while announcing the final contestants of the competition after a fierce screening and examination said the program would hold in the school premises and would start at exactly 9:30am. He promised that the program would not only be educative but also entertaining with a lot of gifts to be won.
The host of the Day is the Proprietor himself, Dr Hisa Muslim.
