*_September 17th, 2020 (Thursday)._*

It was exactly 1pm when Comr. Raji Oluwaseye said the opening prayer.
The Agenda of the meeting was highlighted by Comr. Orikemi and Comr. Raji Akintunde interceded to highlight the first agenda.
Below are the meeting agenda discussed yesterday;

▪️Registration of the union.
▪️ Creation of Logo for the union.
▪️ inclusion of Secondary school students as well as tertiary institution indigenous students.
▪️ Getting each ward well represented.
▪️ Uniting the Union with NYCN ikorodu North chapter and helping our members get necessary bursary.

*Registration of the union*
Comr. Orikemi alongside other present members discussed extensively the requirements needed for the registration of the union. During the cause of discussion, NYCN ikorodu north Coordinator, Comr. Ganiu Olawale buttress our points by directing us to some dignitaries to fast track our registration process with necessary documents required.

*ADOPTION OF UNION LOGO.*
After several discussions, a consensus was reached to edit the already known ikorodu north LCDA Logo and include some basic educational symbols with the name "Ikorodu North Students Union (INSU)" inscribe on it.

*INCLUSION OF SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS.*
As the name implies "Students Union" , the term Union does not only mean Tertiary institution students. In order to build a well known Union that represents the interest of all students, Secondary school students should be included.And also have online programs for them as well .

*GETTING EACH WARD WELL REPRESENTED*
As we all know we have 5 wards in ikorodu north LCDA which are; Erikorodo, Olorunda, Isiu, Agbala and Odogunyan.
Getting at least 20 active representative from each ward is our target.

*UNITING THE UNION WITH NYCN AND GETTING BURSARY FOR OUR MEMBERS*
NYCN is a platform which cater for all youth associations, Unions and Forums. Not only that, the Union promised to vouch

The Leadership of National Association of Ikorodu Division Students gladly announce to members of our association who are interested in entrepreneurship programs to chat the President on WhatsApp via *08153381930*

We received an empowerment form(s), THE OBASA MOVEMENT INITIATIVE in Partnership with NATIONAL IMAGE yesterday through the office of the Honourable Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government yesterday.

Through this initiative, beneficiaries will be taught virtually on either Web Design, Online Marketing, Agro Business or Exportation/Importation.

After the completion of the program, there is opportunity for scholarship for whoever is interested.

Limited slot available, based on first come first serve. We are also working to ensure that other LCDAs Chairmen support us so that a lot will benefit from it.

*NAIDS WAEC TUTORIAL*

The Executive of *National Association of Ikorodu Division Students* invite Facilitators across Ikorodu Division who are willing to assist *NAIDS ACADEMIC COMMITTEE* in tutoring our siblings and members who are preparing for their WAEC EXAMINATION.

The tutorial is necessitated due to:
*_•Time difference between School Resumption and Examination date_*
*_•Long stay at home with little or no tutorial to prepare them for the Examination_*
*_•Academic Success of the members_*

Note that the Examination with be starting *NEXT WEEK TILL THE FINAL DAY OF THE EXAMINATION* and the venue will cut across the whole LG/LCDAs in Ikorodu Division.

The senate Arm through the Bye election Committee hereby call for Qualified Personalities to fill the vacant senatorial Slot across the Six LG and Lcdas that make Up Ikorodu Division.
