ls, the name of the registration with corporate affairs commission (CAC) has two separate schools. Namely: City Model Nursery and Primary School and City Model College, all in Ode-Irele, Irele local government area of Ondo State. THE NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL
It is the first private nursery and primary school in Irele township and in Irele local government as a whole. The school was born as a result of the love the proprietor, Pastor Olanrewaju Oyegunwa has for Irele as a town. Pius Michael (now Pastor) and Miss Lewa Ogunwo (now Deaconess Julius, S.O.). They worked very hard to bring the school to limelight. God assisted us immensely to the extent that City Model Nursery and Primary School became a household name in Irele as our pupils came from the nooks and crannies of Ode-Irele. After a few years of existence, the nursery arm was approved, followed by the upgrade to nursery and primary status. CITY MODEL COLLEGE
The establishment of the secondary section was the result of the excellent work done in the nursery and primary section. Hence, the school was opened officially on September 8, 1995 by Pastor M.O Ojuolape who was the area pastor for the GOFAMINT, Irele area (now Irele District). Mrs Okonkwo was the first principal of the college. Without any doubt, the objectives being set for the schools are being achieved.

City Model college commences promotion Examinations

The air crackled with a mix of anticipation as the day of the promotion Examinations dawned.
Students were ready to begin the exam, with their pens poised over the paper.

The corridors, usually buzzing with chatter, were now hushed, punctuated only by the rhythmic ticking of the clock.

This was a pivotal moment, a culmination of a year's worth of learning, late nights studies, and shared experiences.

As the examination papers were distributed, a collective breath was held, followed by the focused scratching of pens on paper.

The journey to the next class had begun...

As schools across the nation prepare to resume for 2024/2025 academic session,tomorrow 17th September,2024,the management of City Model College,Ode-Irele has extended her warmest greetings to all her students-both old and the prospective new students welcoming them to the new academic session.
In his speech,the Proprietor and Director of studies,City Model College,Pastor Olanrewaju Oyegunwa admonished the students to put on armour of hardwork in their studies saying the school is poised for greater academic excellence urging cooperation between the students and the school for attainment of their desired goals
Oyegunwa,who used the occasion to the announcement of admission into the Junior and secondary classes of the school,urged the parents to use the window of opportunity afforded for admission to register their wards and children into the school within the limited time-frame which he disclosed begins Tuesday 17th September till 4th October ,2024 assuring them of fruitful academic session.
Similarly,he highlighted massive recruitment of capable hands and upgrading of existing facilities as various measures put in place by the school to achieve an optimum performance. He therefore urged parents,guardians and the general public to register their wards with the school assuring them of qualitative education combined with serene and conducive environment for learning.
Finally, Oyegunwa used the auspicious moment to announce September 30th date as PTA meeting urging parents/guardians to attend as important issues relating to their wards and the school shall be discussed. Oyegunwa stressed.

INVITATION TO A SPECIAL THANKSGIVING
It is my pleasure to invite the general public to a GENERAL THANKSGIVING of City Model College slated for tomorrow Sunday 9th June,2024 at the Gospel Faith Mission Internation,(GOFAMINT),Ruwahe District,lrele at 10am prompt.
You will recalled that the school was in stormy period during the incident of the missing boy that lasted for weeks which God in His infinite mercy found,located and returned safely to the school after which he was reunited with his parent.
Looking back on God's wonderful mercy and love to the school,we have nothing to give in return than to appreciate His love for the school with mother of all thanksgiving,tomorrow at Ruwahe Assembly.
We enjoin the general public,,our parents,members of staff ,old students of City Model Schools and well-wishers to join on this wonderful THANKSGIVING SERVICE of the schools.
