The Buzz of Champs: the maiden edition of the TCA INUE Spelling Bee Competition (Grand Finale) held on Saturday, 18th November, 2023 was a huge success!

The TCA INUE Spelling Bee Competition (TISBC) is the brainchild of the TCA INUE Project aided by the sagacious members of the TCA Early Literacy Committee.

With the aim of leading an educational revolution starting from the Eziama environs, Top-Notch Child/Top-Notch Crystal set up the TCA INUE Project in 2021 to come up with programmes, both school-specific and otherwise, attuned at helping young ones to discover, develop their latent talents and capabilities as an alternative to the pervading joblessness and glamorization of criminality.

Against this backdrop, TCA INUE Project has continued to be a shining light in the educational atmosphere of Eziama, Isiala Mbano, Imo State and beyond and has been on a mission not just to instill in young people, the confidence they need to assert their relevance in the scheme of things (in line with TCA's vision of providing a community which propels learners to be fecund members of the society who acquire and transmute knowledge into power for service to God and humanity), but also to dispel from their minds, the relics of the notion that they are less by virtue of the location they find themselves.

The above informed the TCA INUE Talent Hunt Competition 2022 held on the 16th of March with about 15 participants taking part in various categories such as singing, comedy, technovation and bible quotation.

In the same vein, TISBC was held in line with the rules of various notable spelling bee competitions as a springboard to greater heights. At the preliminary stage, relevant classes were put to test and 18 participants emerged successful and proceeded to the grand finale which took place few days ago.

At the end of the exercise, to motivate these buzzing champs, not only were the first three champions in each category given gifts and scholarships of different kinds by the school, all other participants were also given consolation gifts and entered into TCA's Special List (the effect of which will be seen in the days and weeks ahead).

While we have a long way to go in our quest for educational revolution, we are assured by the fact of being in the right direction and we hope that you support us even as we unveil our next wonderful projects.
