Admission is not success.
Wrong course is a lifetime of silent unemployment.
In Nigeria, a useless degree is not harmless.
It is a financial burden waiting to happen
You can work anywhere’ is the biggest lie sold to students
Because many of them end up working nowhere
Don’t raise a graduate
Raise a child who can feed themselves
Passion without income is pressure
Choose survival first, passion later
One extra year to rewrite JAMB is nothing
Ten years of joblessness is everything
If your degree cannot get you paid, it will get you dependent.
The goal is not to enter University.
The goal is to leave with earning power
Your child may have the dream course in mind, but dream courses require dream scores

The management of An-nujoom international college wishes all SS3 students outstanding success in their upcoming JAMB Examinations. May Allah grant you success. BaarakaLLAHU feekum,💐

Instead of studying Anatomy or Physiology (not needed in hospitals, they are purely academic) pls study Physiotherapy, Nutrition and Dietetics, Dentistry, Orthodontics, Optometry (are highly needed in hospitals and private practice)
Instead of studying Pharmacology ( not needed in hospitals, it is purely academic) pls study Pharmacy (highly needed in hospitals and private practice)
Instead of just doing Linguistics (purely academics) pls go and study Chinese language or German language or Spanish language or French language. Learn to speak an actual foreign language fluently. There is high demand for these in many international organisations and they pay in dollars
Those purely academic courses will make you a lecturer. Nothing wrong with being a lecturer. It’s just that lecturing jobs are harder to get and take longer to get unless you have a first class in that course.
Move away from courses that are purely academic without any practical skills that will give you an actual job
Move away from courses that give you just knowledge without any useful practical skills that are high in demand and solve real life problems for people
Courses with high in demand practical skills that solve real like problems for people will make you start earning immediately after graduation 📌
