Alhamdulillah! We have successfully completed the blessed month of Ramadan - a month of fasting, prayers, reflection, and spiritual renewal.

As we celebrate this joyous occasion, NABS urges all members to:

🎓 NABS CELEBRATES SEN. COMR. ABDULLAHI BIOGERA ISSA ON HIS GRADUATION 🎓

The National Association of Baruten Students (NABS) National Headquarters, through its leadership led by the Executive President, Comr. Halidu Abdullahi Simeh, proudly celebrates one of its finest, Senator Comrade Abdullahi Biogera Issa, on his graduation from Bayero University Kano (BUK).
Senator Biogera, who recently earned his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, has been a towering figure in Baruten student leadership and a mentor to countless students across Nigeria.

A distinguished student leader who served as Chairman of the NABS Caretaker Committee during a critical period in the association's history, Senator Biogera has consistently demonstrated excellence both in academics and leadership. He currently serves as Senate President of the National Association of Kwara State Students (NAKSS) National Headquarters, representing Baruten students at the state level.

His graduation marks the successful culmination of years of balancing rigorous academic demands with dedicated service to student welfare - a testament to his discipline, focus, and commitment to excellence.
"Senator Biogera has shown us that leadership and academic success are not mutually exclusive. He has excelled in both, inspiring many Baruten students to pursue excellence in all areas of life," the association noted in a statement.

From the classrooms of BUK to the corridors of student politics, Senator Biogera has proven that Baruten students can achieve greatness on any platform. His journey serves as an inspiration to current and future students from our community.
The entire NABS leadership - Executive, Senate, and Judiciary - join all members in celebrating this remarkable achievement.
NABS prays that Allah blesses this achievement and opens even greater doors of opportunity for him. May his Civil Engineering career be as impactful as his student leadership has been.

In a bid to enhance education and community service, the *National Association Of Baruten Students, National Headquarters* is happy to announce it *Orientation and Educational outreach programs* across secondary schools in the 11 wards. This project aims to equip students with the necessary orientation needed to navigate the education journey at the early age ranging from career guidance, social issues (drug abuse, truancy, peer pressure, teenage pregnancy etc) and as well as provide students with supportive educational materials that could enhance learning.

In this note, We call upon all esteemed leaders, students, philanthropists, business men/women, and students to support this project through donations with a minimum amount of ₦500 which cover the cost of one exercise book.

Sequel to the market survey, we have secured a supplier offering exercise books at the rate of ₦500 per copy, and our target is to distribute 3,000 books across schools in Baruten local Government through donations and support.

Meanwhile, together, we can achieve this noble goal of empowering the students in our local government through support and donations.

*NABS NHQ ENGAGED KEY STAKEHOLDERS FOR RECOGNITION AND EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT*

In a strategic move to enhance the NABS Nhq. visibility and foster stronger relationships with key stakeholders, the leadership of the *National Association of Baruten Students (NABS)* recently paid a courtesy visit to the Baruten Local Government Education Authority. The visit, aimed at securing recognition and support for the association’s initiatives, we were warmly received by the LG Education Secretary, *Mallam Idris Woru*.

During the visit, Mallam Woru expressed his sincere appreciation for the proactive steps taken by NABS to advocate for the development of education and as well registering their full existence to stakeholders of Baruten Local Government Area.

In his welcome address, he commended the leadership of the association for their commitment to driving educational progress and highlighted the importance of such engagements in fostering a more robust educational system.

Mallam Woru further assured the leadership of NABS of his full support and pledged to serve as a liaison between the association and other key stakeholders within the local government. He emphasized the need for collaborative efforts to address the challenges facing education in the local government and expressed his willingness to facilitate meetings with other relevant leaders to strengthen this partnership.

In addition to the visit to the Education Authority, the NABS leadership also extended their courtesy calls to several traditional leaders in the region. These included the *Sinawarigi of Boriya*, *Sinabanle Suuru of Shiya*, and the *Sinawarigi of Kosubosu*. During these visits, the traditional rulers warmly wel

The National Association of Baruten Students National Headquarter graciously attended the NABS Usmanu Danfodio University Chapter Day, held on Thursday, 12th December 2024, at Kosubosu, Baruten Local Government Area.

The delegation from NABS National Headquarters was led by the Executive President, Comrade Aminu Worugbere. Other esteemed executives, senators and members in attendance included Comrade Abdulsalam (Gen. Secretary); Lady Comrade Hamidat Wenu, (Vice President Special Duties); Comrade Jumai Toure, (Registrar), Comrade Danjuma Bawa, (Sports Director); Sen. Aminu Sebogi (Senate Clerk); Sen. Abdulrahman Sunoboni, (Chief Whip); Sen. Zulkanein; and Comrade Saheed Kpabu, Member from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria..

Today 16th November, 2024 we had our second rehearsal for the upcoming international students day schedule to hold on Tuesday 19th November, 2024.
The event is a significant event with cultural contest from indigenous students association in Kwara State.
