More often than you think puzzles develop memory skills, as well as an ability to plan, test ideas and solve problems. The experience of completing a puzzle can also help your child to learn to accept challenges, overcome problems and deal with frustrations.

Of many benefits of puzzle, I choose to share the two above with you, when next you go shopping don't forget to gift your child a new puzzle pack.

In the recent times I've heard many women complained about holidays, having to cope with work and a toddler at home.
May I say that I perfectly understand how it feels, and that is the reason I am going to be posting activities and constructive play that can help keep your child/children busy as well as learning too.

These activities are simple and are what you can try at home. You must not get all the materials on the pictures I'll be sharing with you so just improvise. In the end you'll find yourself enjoying holidays with your cuties and having a less coarse lifestyle because of holidays.

EARLY YEARS CURRICULUM

The Pre-School arm of Lovoak International School uses the pure Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum of England. We take the approach that each child is unique, with special talents and abilities and an Individual Learning Style.

We acknowledge that children develop and learn in different ways and at different rates, and believe that all areas of learning and development is equally important and inter-connected.

SEVEN AREAS OF LEARNING
Areas
*Personal, Social and Emotional development
*Physical Development
*Communication and Language

Areas
*Literacy
*Mathematics
*Understanding the World
*Expressive Arts and Design.

*PERSONAL, SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT:: involves helping children to develop a positive sense of themselves, and others; to form a positive relationships and develop respect for others ; to develop social skills and learn how to manage their feelings ; to understand appropriate behaviour in groups; and to have confidence in their own abilities.

As children grow in confidence and abilities within the three prime areas, the balance will slowly shift towards a more equal focus on all seven areas.
