*قال ابن القيم - رحمه الله - :*
ومن صفاتِ الغرباء :
① التمسُّكُ بالسنّةِ إذا رغبَ عنها الناس،
② وتركُ ما أحدثُوه وإن كانَ
هو المعروفُ عندهم،
③ وتجريدُ التوحيد وإن أنكر ذلك
أكثرُ الناس،
④ وتركُ الانتساب إلى أحدٍ غيرَ الله
ورسوله لا لشيخٍ، ولا طريقةٍ،
ولا مذهبٍ، ولا طائفةٍ،
⑤ بل هؤلاء الغرباءَ منتسبون إلى الله
بالعبودَّية له وحده وإلى رسوله
بالاتِّباع لما جاء به وحده،
⑥ وهؤلاء همُ القابضُون على الجمرِ حقَّا،
⑦ وأكثرُ الناسِ لائمٌ لهُم فلغُربَتِهم
بين هذا الخَلقِ يعدُّونهم أهلَ شذوذ
وبدعةٍ ومفارقة للسواد الأعظم.
