🌙 Ramadan Day 21 Reminder: The Last Ten Nights

The final ten nights of Ramadan have begun, the most blessed nights of the entire month.

The Prophet ﷺ would increase his worship during these nights, spending the night in prayer and encouraging his family to do the same.

This is the time to:
• Increase Qur’an recitation
• Make sincere du‘ā
• Pray more and stay consistent
• Reduce distractions and focus on Allah

Remember: Laylatul Qadr is among these nights, a night better than a thousand months.

Do not slow down now.
The greatest rewards of Ramadan are in the last ten nights.

May Allah allow us to witness Laylatul Qadr and accept our acts of worship. Āmīn. 🤲

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ ثَلاَثَةٌ لاَ تُرَدُّ دَعْوَتُهُمُ الصَّائِمُ حَتَّى يُفْطِرَ وَالإِمَامُ الْعَادِلُ وَدَعْوَةُ الْمَظْلُومِ يَرْفَعُهَا اللَّهُ فَوْقَ الْغَمَامِ وَيَفْتَحُ لَهَا أَبْوَابَ السَّمَاءِ وَيَقُولُ الرَّبُّ وَعِزَّتِي لأَنْصُرَنَّكَ وَلَوْ بَعْدَ حِينٍ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “There are three whose supplication is not rejected: The fasting person when he breaks his fast, the just leader, and the supplication of the oppressed person; Allah raises it up above the clouds and opens the gates of heaven to it. And the Lord says: ‘By My might, I shall surely aid you, even if it should be after a while.’”

🌙 RAMADAN DAY 6 REMINDER

عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ ‏ "‏ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُفْطِرُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ عَلَى رُطَبَاتٍ فَإِنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ رُطَبَاتٌ فَتُمَيْرَاتٍ فَإِنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ تُمَيْرَاتٌ حَسَا حَسَوَاتٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ ‏"‏ ‏

Anas bin Malik narrated: "The Messenger of Allah would break the fast with fresh dates before performing Salat. If there were no fresh dates then (he would break the fast) with dried dates, and if there were no dried dates then he would take a few sips of water."

(Jami` at-Tirmidhi 696)

Dear Amazing Parents and Others,

Our SSS 1 & 2 Art students today (16th February , 2026) had a practical learning experience as they visited the Shariah Court to observe live court proceedings.

This excursion provided them with firsthand exposure to the administration of justice, deepening their understanding of Government, Civic Education, and Islamic Studies beyond the classroom walls.

At Assunnah Schools, Ilorin, we believe learning is most effective when theory meets practice. Today’s experience has enriched their knowledge, broadened their perspective, and strengthened their appreciation of the judicial system.

We are proud of our students for their exemplary conduct and maturity throughout the visit and also the teachers in charge.

One of our outstanding pupils achieved an exceptional score of 296 out of 300, standing as a shining example of the blessing that comes with hard work, dedication, and the pursuit of knowledge guided by Islamic values.

This achievement reflects the tireless efforts of our management and staff (most especially their class teacher), whose patience, sincerity, and commitment continue to shape the future of our young learners.

We pray that Allah rewards every teacher, coordinator, and member of staff abundantly for their contribution towards nurturing a generation grounded in both academic excellence and piety.
