The AFS Youth Assembly, held in New York City between the 14th and 18th of August, 2024, featured a community of next generation leaders, educators and change-makers; young men and women who work tirelessly to strengthen partnerships in a bid to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals for human development and global growths.
We are proud to have our Founder Zacheus Ayodeji Ladanu represent Nigeria as a youth-delegate in the Global Educators Programme Track. Having being known for his innovative nexus in global citizenship education, learning policy and digital skills development, he was selected by the The Youth Assembly to join the consortium of 50 Global Educators from around the globe in order to learn, collaborate and develop workable solutions for the future of education through technology.
Through these experiences, the young leaders and change-makers developed skills to continue their work in addressing global issues that impact individuals and communities, as well as creating partnerships to build more digitally inclusive learning systems, and improve equitable access to education across board.
Our Founder, on two different occasions, was delegated to share globally relevant insights with young leaders and change-makers on the need to collaboratively build learning solutions through technological innovations for global learning as a guarantee of a sustainable future for all.
