Holiday classes have officially come to an end, and we couldn’t be more grateful to you.

Thank you for entrusting us with your children this holiday. We made it our goal to combine learning with fun, and your support made that possible.

This session was filled with laughter, learning, and lots of memories. Our learners participated in a spelling competition and enjoyed various engaging games. The highlight of the day was watching one of our 6-year-olds confidently spell *"prestidigitation"* — a moment that reminded us all of the incredible potential in our children when they are encouraged and supported.

Your partnership, encouragement, and trust mean so much to us. Because of you, our learners ended the holiday not just smarter, but more confident and excited about learning.

HOLIDAY CLASS UPDATE: AGE 9-10 🎉📊

Today in class, our Age 9-10 learners tackled Estimation & Party Planning!

What they did:
They planned a party for 40 learners + 5 teachers = 45 people.
They learnt how to:
Estimate quantities of food, drinks, and materials
Budget with real-life amounts
Solve problems involving addition, multiplication, and fair sharing

Home Fun Activity 🏠
Your child is to plan a party for 20 people at home.
Ask them: "How much will we need? What will it cost? How will we share?"

Dear Parents,

Our 9-10 year olds are being trained in estimation and budgeting.

A NOTE TO OUR DEAR PARENTS 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Parents, it’s been a wonderful holiday time with our children.

In this season, I want to gently remind us:

Are we comparing them with other children?
Every child grows at their own pace. Celebrate your child’s uniqueness.

Are we creating regular time for discussion with them?
Talk with them. Listen to them. Their thoughts and stories matter.

Are we building their morals and character?
Teach kindness, honesty, respect, and responsibility through what we do daily.

Are we showing them love — in our actions and most importantly in our words?
A hug, a "I’m proud of you", "I love you" goes a long way.

Are we attending to their needs — not just food and money, but also care and love?
Children need our time, attention, and presence more than anything.

Dear Parents,
This holiday season, please ensure your children enjoy premium love from you.
A child who feels loved at home becomes a stable, confident child in the future.

Keep doing the work. Keep showing up.
You will surely eat the fruit of your labour. 🌱

Welcome to *Week 4* at *God’s Royals Academy* 👑🎉

It’s been an exciting and educative 3 weeks with our learners, and we’re not slowing down!

*OUR LEARNING JOURNEY SO FAR*
*Week 1: Money Smart 💰*
Our learners visited the make-believe bank and learnt how to save, spend, and count money wisely.

*Week 2: Market Skills 🛒*
Our learners became young marketers! They learnt selling skills, buying strategies, and how to handle customers.

*Week 3: Kitchen Maths 🍳*
Our learners explored the kitchen. They identified measuring tools, learnt to measure, double recipes, and share food fairly.

*WEEK 4: PARTY PLANNER 🎉*
This week, our learners become *Event Planners*!
They will:
1. *Plan a budget* for a class party
2. *Solve real-life problems* involving money, addition and subtraction
3. *Practice sharing* and division by sharing items equally
4. *Use data* to vote, tally, and make decisions for the party

By Friday, they will present their party plan and we’ll have a mini celebration in class!

*Home Support*: Please help your child practice counting money and sharing at home. Ask them: "What 3 things do we need for a party?"

Are you aware of kitchen math? That's exactly what's taking place at God's Royals Academy this week.

This week at our Holiday Class, our learners will be "Cooking Up Numbers" 🍳📊. At Kitchen Math Class, they will practice measuring ingredients correctly, doubling and halving recipes, and sharing food fairly using fractions.

In Vocabulary Building, learners will learn five new words across all classes to broaden their word bank.

Our Phonics Class continues to be a joy, with learners becoming more confident in the pronunciation of words.

At God’s Royals Academy, we remain devoted to all-round grooming of our Royals.

Vocabulary Building helps to improve our children's word bank. It teaches them the meaning of words and how to use them correctly in sentences.

At God’s Royals Academy, we are committed to increasing the vocabulary of our learners. That’s why this week at our Holiday Classes, our learners added 5 new words to their vocabulary. 💬

Last week, our learners learnt how to write correctly on a cheque and they cashed out their money at our school made-up bank. 🏦
This week, our focus is on Everyday Maths:
How to add up their market list
How to calculate the change to be collected after making a purchase 🛒💰

In Phonics Class, learners were introduced to sounds and how to use them correctly in the pronunciation of words.
Our teachers guided learners on pronouncing difficult words with their correct sounds. 🔊

On Friday, 23rd January 2026, primary learners engaged in a creative activity where they made hand fans using sacks. Today, they brought their finished hand fans back to school, and we are delighted with their progress.
