As families gather, pray, and fast, we celebrate the dedication of our teachers who continue to nurture knowledge and character in every child across the state.

On this International Day of Education, we celebrate the journey of KwaraLEARN, a reform built on political will, consistency, and belief in what public education can become.

Under the leadership of His Excellency Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Kwara State made a deliberate choice to invest in teachers, strengthen classroom practice, and use data to guide decisions. Year after year, that commitment has translated into better teaching, stronger supervision, and measurable improvements in learning across public primary schools.

KwaraLEARN shows what is possible when government leads with clarity and stays the course. Education reform is not an event. It is a journey, and Kwara is proving that the journey is worth it.

Happy International Day of Education.

Happy New Year from KwaraLEARN.

In 2025, KwaraLEARN continued strengthening teaching and learning across more than 1,600 public schools, supporting over 7,000 teachers and reaching more than 200,000 pupils.

Structured lessons, ongoing coaching, and better use of data helped reduce the number of non-readers significantly, while improvements in numeracy followed. Rising enrolment reflected renewed confidence in public schools.

In 2026, KwaraLEARN remains focused on sustaining learning gains and supporting teachers to deliver quality instruction every day. We thank the Kwara State Government and SUBEB for their leadership and partnership.
