Sunshine Nursery and Primary School's 2024-25 Relay Team Makes a Thrilling Debut!

Today, our tiny but mighty relay team faced off against seven other schools at the Unifemiga Nursery and Primary School invitation relay. Despite being the smallest team, they showed remarkable determination and spirit!

Running on the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo Sports tracks, our young athletes held their own against taller and more experienced opponents. The boys' team clinched an impressive third position, while the girls' team finished fifth, overcoming a technical hitch during the baton passing.

Special kudos to Nanaya Ansa and Kemi Jacob, who demonstrated exceptional skill and perseverance in their respective legs of the race!

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to Uncle Tomiwa, our dedicated and exceptional coach, who has superbly guided our relay team for the past 7 years. Your tireless efforts, expertise, and passion for athletics have been instrumental in shaping our young athletes into confident and skilled competitors. Thank you for your commitment to excellence!

We couldn't be prouder of our debutants! Their courage, teamwork, and sportsmanship are a shining example of the Sunshine spirit. Congratulations to our fantastic relay team!
