A GOOD WINE

Part 3: Water

"And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now."
John 2:10

So both Jesus the Fruit [Life and the Living Water], and Mary His Mother the Womb that conceived and carried the fruit were invited into the Beginning of a Lifetime Partnership [Marriage]. There is no way you will involve GOD in your life, business, profession, job, marriage, family and everything, and be embarrassed or disappointed. GOD has the ability to salvage, control and put every situation in your favour. The bridegroom did not know that there might arise a situation were what stirs the celebration will finish or be unavailable: you do not know the situations that life will bring to you in the future; do not depend on what you possess nor give up due the conditions you find yourself. Build your strength and hope on Jesus by inviting Him to your table of life. Build your life on the rock Jesus, so that you can stand the test of time.
"Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:
He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great."
Luke 6:47-49.
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."
John 5:24
Next verses;

"And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece."
John 2:6
There were set there six unrecognized, abandoned, useless and unprofitable water pots, that were empty. How much have we been carried away by the pleasures, achievements, situations, possessions and problems of life that we have neglected the essence of life. Before we go deep into what Water is and has, lets meditate on six empty pots. It took GOD six days to create everything living and nonliving including man; then when God created you and i, he put in every potential, abilities, purpose, vision, and told us to multiply, fill in and occupy every available thing and places, but we've been carried away by pleasures and situations of life, immoral merriments and celebrations that has made many to forget to multiply, occupy, fill in and dominate every aspects of life with the Life of GOD given to us by GOD through Jesus Christ [the Living Water]. Many have gone away from the precepts and standard of the Word and Commandments of GOD because they want to be like the world [Others: Carnality]; this has made many to become empty water pots, and have abandon filling the spaces in their life with the Divine and God-given abilities, potentials, talents and gifts that God has made available to us to take us through life and give us dominion. Many have left the fruits of the Spirit to be drunk, distracted, carried away and destroyed by the celebrations, activities and Carnality of the world of sin and destruction. Today, partnership and agreement with sin and the devil is easy to get into because of the deadly benefits in them. Whatever you get from the devil will take you to the devil [hell]; and whatever you celebrate with and in sin will destroy you and drop you in eternal damnation. The only way to discover yourself, grow, prosper and have eternal life is in the Living Water, that is JESUS CHRIST, the Son of GOD.
"I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."
John 10:9-10.
"But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."
John 4:14

Essence of WATER:
There is apparently nothing we do in life that does not involve water or something made like/from water in a liquid form. No living being can exist without taking water, including plants and animals. Water is one of the inevitable, reliable and resourceful essentials of life. No food can be prepared or eaten without water or something made with water. So what is the Natural Man or Life without Natural Water: and what is Man without Purpose through Jesus Christ the Giver of Life and the Living Water. The Bridegroom made a Partnership and Agreement and hosted the pleasures of life without knowing or having the Purpose of Life: it is like starting life without life; it is like celebrating the birth of a lifeless or dead baby; why will you be celebrating a dead end without Jesus. Imagine if Jesus was not invited or allowed into the wedding or celebration, it would have been shameful and disastrous to the host and celebrants. Do not live a life with people that cannot help you when there is need for salvation or help. It is only Jesus, and giving Him the space to occupy and fill in in your life.
"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me."
Revelation 3:20

"Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.
When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom."
John 2:7-9.
When you recognise God in your life, He will command your life to be filled with the Living Water: with the Blessings, Divine Health, Prosperity, Gifts, Talents and Potentials, Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding, and many more Heavenly Blessings. All you need to do is to invite Him into your life, and fill Him in all the space in your life, then allow him to have His way according to His Will.
- The Governor signifies greatness, royalty, glory and honour. When God fills you up with His life, you will become a blessing to many people, you will be lifted and recognized among kings, queens, great men and women, rulers and royalty. The Governor did not know where the New Wine from the pot of wine came from, but he surely testified that that particular one filled up and blessed by Jesus was extraordinary, wonderful and glorious. If you have never been recognized in life, you've been neglected, abandoned, hated and disgraced in life because you have no sweetness nor essence, purpose and abilities; Jesus will bless you and turn your story and life into great testimonies and miracles. People will start looking for you, and you will become a source and channel of blessing in Jesus name. Amen!
"And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing.
And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed."
Genesis 12:2-3.

A GOOD WINE

Part 2 - Obedience

"And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now."
John 2:10

I hope that you have meditated on the Part 1 of this message, and I pray and believe that God is doing glorious things in your life. Now let us dig into the part 2. We will be starting with the third verse of John 2.

"And WHEN they WANTED wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine."
John 2:3
You can imagine being at a ceremony or wedding where there is no wine or the wine got finished: it could mean the celebration has ended, or that the host could not meet the standard. Imagine being in a contract, and cannot meet the financial requirements, it can result in a breach of contract, bankruptcy, poverty and frustration. Imagine getting married, and not bearing children at the expected period of time. Imagine giving your parents, family, children, friends and well wishers high hope and expectations, and you could not meet their expectations. Imagine dropping out of the university, and watching your mates graduate. During these period of time that it seems that you are unreliable, undependable, incompetent and untalented, who do you listen to? Who do you run to? Who do you obey?
"Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw."
John 4:13-15

Jesus is the living water, the answer and solution you need in every situation. You need the carry the right desire [womb - Mary] in order for God to listen to you. Mary was the womb, space to be filled, and desire filled with holiness and righteousness. Jesus listened to her because her desire was according to the invitation and purpose of GOD. Most times we fall into sin, and call on God only when we need salvation or deliverance and help. You need to live a holy life, and have Jesus always.
"As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
1 Peter 1:14-16.

Sometimes we call on God with the wrong desires and plan; He does not answer those that are not working according to His purpose for their lives, nor does he respond to the wrong motives.
Imagine if there was wine, they would not have seen the need for God. There are times that God will allow challenges and storms, not to frustrate nor destroy you; but to renew your desire for Him. Some people became born again when they ran to Christ during their problems and trials. Carry the right womb, expectations and desire, and the joy and celebrations in your life will be everlasting in Jesus name. Amen!
Next verses;

Surround yourself and work with people that you trust and sure that they will obey God at all cost. People that fear and love God. Bishop Oyedepo in his book "Exploits in Ministry" advice us to choose the people we trust.
Also try your best at all cost to do everything God tells you to do in every situation you find yourself in life.
Your Spiritual Womb is your ability to contain and express the fruits of the Holy Spirit; in order to deliver and receive the Gifts from GOD. It is the Fruits and Gifts of the Spirit that will bring everlasting celebration and life to you. You need to obey and do them.
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law."
Galatians 5:22-23.
"But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will."
1 Corinthians 12:7-11.

A GOOD WINE

Part 1: Fruitfulness

"And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now."
John 2:10

Hallelujah! Its been a while since we last studied God's Word together; we thank GOD for everything. Today's teaching is one that the Holy Spirit dropped in my spirit when I did not expect it; immediately I started digging into the scriptures for more understanding. GOD has led me to share this Inspiring mystery with you; you gonna love and grow with it. Praise GOD.
Let us begin with looking into the definition of some of the words that we will be studying with in the English Dictionary;
- A: used to donate a singular item of a group; one certain or particular; someone or something.
- GOOD: dependable, beneficial, ethical or moral; competent or talented.
- WINE: an alcoholic beverage made by fermenting the juice of grapes.
According to the definitions above, we can say that as a A Good Wine: we mean a single person or thing that is dependable and beneficial because of what he/she/it is made from or with. Wines are made from grapes (fruit), so not all wines are alcoholic. Wines, especially in the Nigeria where I am from, and all around the world, are mostly used for celebrations and expression of class or level. We know there are different kinds of wine according to different levels or kinds of people and financial status; so we buy the kind of wine that we can afford according to how beneficial it will be. I can remember the first time I bought a bottle of wine was when I went to visit a female teammate, I mean that was six years ago. If you ask me why I did that, I still cannot explain till today; all I can remember is that money can make an inexperienced mind to do unimaginable things. Today, I can give you so many structured, extraordinary and perfect reasons why I would buy a certain wine to certain places or for certain people; and it must be A Good Wine. Now let us get back to the teaching.
For a better understanding, we will start from the first verse of John 2;

"And the THIRD DAY there was a MARRIAGE in Cana of Galilee; and the MOTHER of Jesus was there."
John 2:1
- We know that the Third Day is mostly known especially during Easter as the day of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD. So we can say Thank GOD that the wedding and marriage (long run) was resurrected by Jesus Christ on that wedding day, because Him alone has the Power of Resurrection.
- Marriage was the celebration of that day that wine finished; Marriage here shows a Partnership by Agreement to be Fruitful and Faithful in order to Multiply and Grow. Please take note of all these points because the Holy Spirit will put everything together to transform your life, give you Wisdom for growth and prosperity, and blow your mind. The devil knows that our creation was as a result of the partnership and agreement between the Trinity [GOD the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit] to create a living being in God's image [man], for man to dominate, grow and multiply; that is what brings celebration in Heaven until sin came and man became drunk and carried away by the desires, pleasure and sweetness of the world. Remember sin began with a fruit [sweetness], wrong desire and conviction. Stay with me.
"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."
Genesis 1:26.

So when Adam disobeyed GOD and ate the fruit, man actually disagreed with the partnership with GOD, and agreed to create a relationship or marriage with sin [devil]. In every marriage, there is need for fertility, ability to conceive, a womb to carry the fruit and the ability to deliver. Without a womb, there will be no fruitfulness; signifying incompetency, inability, dissatisfaction, unreliability and problem in marriage. When there is no womb, the wine which stirs the celebration becomes old, useless wasted and finished. I mean why would there be wine when there is no child [fruit of the Womb] to celebrate? What is a Wedding Ceremony without a womb to bring a New Life? Who celebrates a Dead or No Womb? Spiritually and Physically on that wedding day, there was need for a Spiritual Seed [Fruit of the Womb], to give life: there was need for a womb.
- Mary the Mother of Jesus was there to signify a Physical and Spiritual Womb.
"And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS."
Luke 1:31
"And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God."
Luke 1:35
So Mary was the embodiment of physical and spiritual fruitfulness and purpose. Thank GOD that she was there. Thank GOD for the holy and righteous living women and ladies; they are embodiments of glory and prosperity. You need to invite the right ones into your life, not the Delilah's.
Now let us move into the next verse, 2.

"And both JESUS was CALLED, and his disciples, to the marriage.
John 2:2
Always invite and relate with the right people that will make your life, profession, work, marriage and everything around you fruitful. The first step to being fruitful, prosperous and living a life towards fulfilling purpose is to invite and accept Jesus into your life. He is the only fruit from GOD through the womb of Mary by the Holy Spirit that can give you Eternal Life and Prosperity.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
Romans 10:9
Always remember to call Him into everything you to do in life. Do not make decisions without asking Jesus. Make Him your first and reliable partner. Report everything to Jesus first.

THE SLEEPING EVE
Part 2: "An Help"
There are things you need to understand during the evening of your sleeping time in GOD. This is the mystery that the Holy Spirit wants to reveal to us in this teaching. While preparing for Christmas, there are other activities, events or preparations that are done a day or night before Christmas day, popularly known as the Christmas Eve; these events gives us the understanding of what Christmas is all about, and what to expect during Christmas. So the Sleeping Eve will also give us the knowledge of the sleep, prepare us for the sleep and tell us what to expect during and after the sleep.
"And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him"
Genesis 2:18
AND THE LORD GOD SAID
Adam never knew he needed an help, he never asked GOD to send him assistance, he never felt like he is alone because the Almighty presence of GOD was omnipresent. It was GOD that thought of helping Adam. He saw that Adam cannot function depending alone on the ability He gave to him; So GOD decided, and not Adam decided: GOD made the observation and decision without the knowledge of Adam. While we seem comfortable and satisfied with the little ability in the gifts and the things GOD is doing through us, we are not aware that GOD is planning something great for us ahead of us. GOD will not allow us to know His plan even while we wholeheartedly work with Him.
I WILL MAKE HIM AN HELP
GOD did not ask Adam the kind of help he needs, neither did He enquire from Adam the features, abilities, functions, capacity to be embedded into the help. Adam had no say, he contributed nothing, neither was he needed in any way for GOD to achieve, create and provide an help meant for him. When GOD calls us or gives us a purpose to fulfill, we are not to decide what we want; what we want to do, nor how we want it to be done. GOD is the master planner that will use the gifts, talents and purpose He has given to us to build us an help that will help us to fulfill what He created us to do on earth. It was not Adam that told GOD that he needs a woman that will be able to reproduce, that will have breast, a different private part; how on earth will Adam be able to comprehend that there could be a different being that can conceive, carry the baby for nine months and give birth to a child. GOD told him to multiply and fill the earth, but until the woman (the gift) arrived, Adam wouldn't have known how to multiply and fill the earth: these abilities were embedded in the gift (the woman) GOD gave to man. Your fame, increase, glory, blessings are all inside the gift GOD will give to you after the sleep. The gift that GOD will present to you will be able to conceive your future, carry the seed and give birth to your greatness at the appointed time. But what identity will you give the gift; what will you use it to do; what will you call it; how will you guard it; how will you build it. Will you use it to the glory of GOD or to the devil: This we will study as a subtopic for THE SLEEPING EVE part 3: IDENTITY.
Remember that the gifts of GOD in us has a limited time based on the number of years GOD gives us to live in this world.
To help means to make it easier or possible for someone to do something by offering one's services or resources. Help also as an exclamation is used as an appeal for urgent assistance, eg 'Help! I'm drowning!'. GOD did not call what He presented to Adam a 'woman', He said, 'i will make him an help'. It was Adam that called it a 'woman' because it was exactly what he needed. GOD knows what you need, He knows and can make available the help you need to make your purpose, calling and assignment for you on earth easy for you. Still on the topic THE SLEEPING EVE, the Holy Spirit will teach us about "SLEEPING TO MARRY" which will be the part 4 of this teaching.
ONE OF HIS RIBS
The ribs are a set of twelve paired bones which form the protective cage of the thorax. They articulate with the vertebral column posteriorly, and terminate anteriorly as cartilage. As part of the body thorax, the ribs protect the internal thoracic organs. The Bible tells us that GOD took one (singular) of his ribs (plural) to create. Meaning GOD can use one to make many; He used one rib to create a super being that can do so many super awesome things. Be faithful in the little ability and assignment GOD has put in you and committed into your hands; and He will bless you abundantly, exceedingly with many other gifts, assignments, heavenly blessings beyond what you would ever imagine. The ribs protect the internal thoracic organs: this is exactly what GOD will use the gifts to do in your life; to protect everything that concerns you. GOD through the gifts will give you the hope of a bright future. Hallelujah!

THE SLEEPING EVE
"And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;"
Genesis 2:21
- Meaning of SLEEP:
To sleep means to rest with your eyes closed, and your mind and your body not active.
- Meaning of EVE:
It is the day or evening before an event. Especially in the evening.
This is an awesome revelation the Holy Spirit taught me while I felt useless and lost in the storm of life. GOD told me to share it with the world.
GOD does great things in His time. Sometimes it will seem like He is gone; like He has abandoned us. In this message, the Holy Spirit will teach us a little about His ways. I said a little because GOD is too big to understand and comprehend everything about Him.
"AND THE LORD GOD CAUSED A DEEP SLEEP TO FALL UPON ADAM"
GOD created the man with many abilities and responsibilities. From the human anatomy of a man alone, you would see the different parts of a man's body, each with it's different functions and abilities; from the head to the feet, the muscles, the hair, the eyes, etc, but GOD decided to use the "RIBS" of a man to create a woman. Why didn't GOD use a outer part of/from a human body that man can see to create a woman. But instead GOD went inside and took a inner ability, invisible to the eyes to create a super being visible to the eyes. GOD had to open the man's body, and take an ability the man cannot see about himself, although he knows that GOD has made him with it. I know I have ribs, because science has shown me that I have it: I know I have a talent and a gift because GOD through His Word has told me that I have one. Wow! GOD invested different gifts, talents and abilities in us, and gives us time to discover this gifts and abilities. GOD created Adam first; and assigned to him different responsibilities to function in the garden in the absence of the woman. Part of the complete human system GOD gave man to function is the rib. If a part of your body is taken from you, it makes you incomplete, because you cannot function if your eyes are taken from you. So your eyes have the ability to see, and your rib also has the ability to function inside your body, and that is the part GOD decided to use.
GOD first put the man into a deep sleep before He could start working on him and create the woman. Adam while he was alone was doing his work, and GOD suddenly decided to create a woman for him: that means GOD will give you the call and purpose; and assign responsibilities to you; then while you are wholeheartedly working for Him, He then suddenly decides to put you to sleep because He is planning ahead of you, that is why He wants to give you help; but first He must put you to sleep in order for Him to work on you. This is time you feel like everything is gone; like you have lost all the gifts; like He has abandoned you; like your sins have cut you off GOD's plan. No GOD has not cut you off nor has He abandoned you; He has not taken the gifts and talents from you. He only decided to put you to sleep so that He can work on you. If GOD decides to keep you awake while He is working on you, you will think that it is by your strength that you have become what He will make you to be.
Out of the so many abilities, gifts and talents GOD has deposited in you; He decides to pick the rib, develop it, shaped it, made it unique and attractive, gave it the ability to reproduce; and after GOD was done with the creating process, He woke us up and presented a refined and glorious gift to us. Adam couldn't delay because of the magnificent and unique gift GOD presented before Him. But that was after GOD woke Him up from sleep.
The EVE of an event is the evening before that event. GOD wants to make something great out from you, but you must first go to sleep. When a man is sleeping, he or she does not know anything about himself/herself: Your eyes will be closed meaning what you see, your personal vision about yourself does not matter in GOD's plan; Your mind will be inactive meaning your thoughts and plan for your future does not count: Your body will be inactive meaning there is nothing you can do about your future. You must only sleep and surrender to GOD to use what He has put in you to create and lift you into who He has destined you to be. A sleeping man cannot protect himself nor make any decision that will help his or her life: This is the time that GOD will use to mold something great and glorious out from the little He has put in you.
Surrender yourself to GOD and sleep, because He needs your time to work on you, but you have decided to be too busy, too gifted, too talented to give Him your sleeping time. You must sleep for GOD to work on you: He knows the help you need; He has everything you need to shine; Him alone can create for you the future He has for you. Don't wait for Him to use the storms of life in order to put you to sleep. Men may not see nor recognize the abilities, gifts and talents GOD has put in you; just keep on working for Him while believing that He will make a great destiny out from you. If GOD had made them to see the greatness in you, maybe you would have been strangled to death at your birth: that is why GOD decided to hide them in you invisible to the physical eyes and beyond natural understanding. The night is always dark, making it impossible for men to recognize you; but if you hold on for GOD to wake you in the morning; you will behold the glory that He will present before you. You are blessed.

The FOUNDATION of LIFE is PURPOSE.
Build the foundation of your life on the perfect Will of GOD for creating you. Lets meditate on the words of Jesus;
John 5:30 "I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the WILL of the FATHER which hath sent me."
Jesus on earth was a man that did everything and said every word according to the will of GOD which was the purpose of Him coming to the world. All His decisions were built on the foundation of the will of His Father. Even during the agony and at the point of death, He was still confident and faithful to fulfil purpose. Meditate on this;
Matthew 26:42 "He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done."
Don't deviate from purpose due to certain distractions and criticism, but focus on the course of life because there is a crown and glory for those that will be faithful to the end. Purpose is not only for ministers of God. It is in every profession, handiwork and occupation one does to make a living. Let the need to please God always guide you when you are working, and let whatsoever you do express the love of God to people. The greatest gift of God is LOVE.
