TEN (10) MISTAKES NOT TO MAKE AS A 21ST TEACHER ‼️‼️
(1.) Don't send a learner away from your class during teaching and learning as a result of bad behavior. This is because you cannot account for what the student may be doing outside and this can count against you if an accident occurs.
(2.) Don't touch a learner inordinately. This is because the learner might claim he or she was abused either sexually/physically.You may not be able to refute it.
(3.) Don't give assignments you don't have time to mark. Unmarked assignments or home work indicate incompetency/unprofessionalism.
(4.) Don't give emotional punishment to your learners. It reduces their chances of becoming a better learner.
(5.) Don't just teach within the period given to you, especially when you are preparing learners for external examinations. Do create more contact time for your learners.
(6.) Don't stay with a learner alone in a class, laboratory, office etc. Child's protection policy forbids it. Try and avoid "one corner" teaching.
(7.) Don't ask a child to kneel down for too long a time. He or she might have a health challenge you are not aware of.
(8.) Don't conspire against your school head( Head of Department, academic head etc). What goes around, comes around.
(9.) Don't be a difficult educator and avoid transferred aggression on any learner. Pocket your personal challenges and always be full of life.
(10.) Don't treat learners unequally. There should be nothing like favourite learner. Every child matters.

DEAR SCHOOL OWNERS 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
EMPLOYING NEW TEACHERS NEXT SESSION.
IF you are just employing NEW HANDS.🔥🔥
PLEASE LISTEN CAREFULLY.💥💥
There is a fear that the old staff will influence the new staff most especially negatively.
Understand you can’t control the OUTCOME but you have control over the INPUT.
Have a meeting with the NEW STAFF;
Explain the ethics of the school system and their input in the school.
Pour out what you don’t like and the penalty attached to it.
These new staff are still OBEDIENT to you.
Create an energy and a fire-loop in them that helps them get cautious of your words and your warnings.
Let them know your OFFICE is free for them to make complains.
Get them familiar to you rather than getting familiar with the management team.
Give them the free space to reach you about any information they need clarity on. Do this for atleast TWO TERMS.
What you are doing is Creating an HEALHY environment for them to stay.
There is no such fulfillment an employee can get than having a free communication with their employer.
What you are doing is making sure they confide in you rather than your old rebellious staff.
This way; you will get to know depth of what is happening right in front of you.
More importantly; learn to penalized uncultured attitude of staff.
Don’t leave any stone unturned.
Uncultured behavior by any staff should be treated openly in staff meetings so everyone can adjust including the new staff.
It is dangerous and a risk to the SCHOOL SYSTEM when a misconduct happens and your new staff watches that nothing is been done to such act.
If you allow that happens; you have watered the energy of the new staff to see that UNCULTURED behavior is normal.
In the law of HARVEST; you don’t blame the FRUIT rather blame the gardener who allow the SEEDS to germinate.📌
A TREE that is difficult to cut down is not only a disturbance but it gives the other trees the energy to grow.
Nothing pull down a school than having the BAD EGGS contaminate the GOOD ONES.
Be aware of COMMITTED but CONTROVERSIAL TEACHERS.
They have nothing to lose but can help you lose everything you have gathered.
If your SCHOOL MUST GROW; you must separate JUDAS from your DISCIPLES.
