Interhouse Sports wasn’t just about the races and competitions, it was about the excitement written on every face throughout the day. The loud cheers on the sidelines, the nervous smiles before each event and unforgettable reactions after every win, every moment captured the energy, spirit, and happiness that made the day so special. Looking through these random snaps brings back all the fun, laughter, and memories we made together 🏆✨

They didn’t just run a race… they fought a battle with their own limits.💪

From the starting whistle, it was no longer just about speed, it became endurance, willpower, and that quiet voice that kept saying don’t stop yet! Every step carried sweat, every breath felt heavier than the last, and still… they pushed forward.

And then came the finish line.

Not as a place of celebration yet, but as a moment of surrender. Some collapsed right after crossing it, not from defeat, but from everything they had given just to get there. The ground became their resting place, because their bodies had finally caught up with the sacrifice their spirit had already made.

But just few moments later… the medals came.

And suddenly, the pain made sense.

Those small pieces of gold weren’t just rewards, they were proof. Proof of early morning discipline, proof of refusing to quit when the legs were begging, proof that hard work doesn’t always shout… sometimes it crawls, limps, or even falls… but it still arrives.

Watching them stand again, this time to receive their medals, was a reminder that success doesn’t always look graceful on the way up. Sometimes it looks like exhaustion at the finish line… followed by a smile that says, I gave everything, and it was worth it.

Hard work truly pays off, not in comfort, but in moments like this.

A few weeks ago, the field wasn’t just a field… it became a time machine.💪😁

Because for a moment, the interhouse sports wasn’t only about the students, it was about parents dusting off “school-day energy” they claimed they no longer had, and old students returning with confidence that quickly met reality on the track.🏃😃

The race? Oh, it started with “I’m just here to support.”
Ten seconds later, it turned into full professional mode, complete with sudden sprint techniques nobody taught them in school. Some ran like they were chasing WAEC results, others like they suddenly remembered they left soup on the fire.

And the tug of war? That one deserves its own documentary.
Some teachers became motivational speakers, parents turned into strategists, and old students discovered that “upper body strength from 10 years ago” is not a renewable energy source. The rope did not respect age, title, or nostalgia, it just pulled everybody back to reality.

In the end, laughter won more medals than any house could count. 🤗❤

And honestly… we should do it again, just to confirm if anyone has secretly been training since then.
