Nurturing world class leaders
21/06/2026
Teaching should not be confined to the four walls of the classroom. 🏛️
Today, we decided to take the topic “Election” beyond the classroom 😉🗳️
Learning became more practical, interactive, and exciting as our students experienced firsthand how elections are conducted. From campaigning to voting and counting of votes, it was indeed a fun-filled and educational experience. 📚✨

Mighty Pillar Scholars International Schools Staff,
As the saying goes, "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy." To refresh, bond, and return even better equipped to nurture our students, we decided to take some time out for recreation at the Lekki Conservation Centre.
It was a fun-filled and memorable experience for everyone.

Admission Is Not Success—Choosing the Right Course Is
Getting admission into a higher institution is only the beginning. The real question is: What course are you studying, and where can it take you?
For many families, especially those of us who must plan carefully, the goal is not just to earn a certificate. It is to build a career, secure employment, and create opportunities for financial independence.
Before choosing a course, consider these important factors:
• Does it have a high employment rate? • Can you start a business or practice with little capital? • Do you have genuine passion for it?
So, let's talk.
Which student is likely to have better career prospects in Nigeria today?
A student studying practical, skill-based courses such as Nursing, Pharmacy Technician, Accounting, or other technical programs.
OR
A student studying courses like Zoology, Microbiology, Science Laboratory Technology, Library and Information Science, and similar programs.
In today's economy, should students prioritize employability, entrepreneurial potential, or passion when choosing a career path?
Share your honest opinion. Your contribution may guide a student toward a brighter future

What a Way to Handover!
Emeka Veneza Victory, the current Head Girl of Mighty Pillar Scholars International Schools (2025/2026), has truly left a legacy of excellence.
From JSS2, Veneza has consistently represented the school in various inter-school competitions—Mathematics, Spelling, and Science—with an outstanding 85% success rate in first-place positions.
In her most recent achievement, she competed in a prestigious essay competition organized by CWAY. Out of hundreds of participants, only six outstanding students who wrote without AI assistance were selected—and Veneza proudly made the top six, advancing to the grand finale at the CWAY Head Office, Lagos State.
Today, she hands over not just a position, but a legacy—as a champion.
Veneza, we are proud of you. Your excellence speaks, and your impact remains.

A big thank you to Asekun Amos!
We once went for a friendly inter-school football competition that ended in a penalty shootout. Unfortunately, our goalkeeper could not continue due to injury. Just when it seemed we might lose the match, Amos — then a JSS2 student of Isawo Junior High School who came to watch — volunteered to step in as our goalkeeper.
With his small stature but great courage, I was already preparing my mind for defeat. But to our amazement, Amos saved three penalty kicks and turned the game around for us!
In appreciation of his bravery and talent, I awarded him a full scholarship covering his school fees, textbooks, uniforms, and free access to all school outings.
Since then, we have made it a tradition to award scholarships to two students every year based on their football skills.
Amos has remained a strong pillar of support to the Mighty Pillar Football Team. He goes the extra mile to train the players and even spends his own money to support the team.
He graduated from our school two years ago and today, he proudly serves as our goalkeeper coach.
Amos Asekun, we celebrate and thank you for your passion, sacrifice, and commitment. You are a true inspiration!
