In my work in the education space, I have discovered one important truth:
You will suffer setbacks if the people around you are only committed but lack the competence and capacity required to do the work effectively.
They may be honest, sincere, loyal, and genuinely committed. These are important qualities, but qualities alone are not enough. The right skills, knowledge, capacity, and habits are equally necessary to achieve the dream.

These are essential for building a high-performing workforce.

Commitment without competence can create activity without results.
Competence without commitment can create ability without ownership.
But when commitment and competence work together, excellence becomes possible.
