This has been an interesting year.
The shedding that the year of the snake brought was thorough—uncomfortable, but I also recognize it was deeply needed.

As the rain falls in LA today, I’m sitting by the fire, reflecting on what has shifted and what I’m calling forward in the new year.

And I’m getting very excited! It feels like a true joy and privilege to say, wholeheartedly, that I LOVE my job. I love this work, these medicines, and I absolutely love teaching.

I am so happy to announce that I am hosting an event on December 4th near D.C. designed for bodyworkers, massage therapists, healers and conscious practitioners who are ready to deepen their understanding of trauma, the nervous system and healing beyond the surface.

In this conversation-style evening we will explore how stress, trauma and the protective patterns they create ripple through every dimension of being — the physical, emotional, energetic, intellectual and spiritual bodies. I grew up in Detroit, Michigan, in a haunted house. At school, I was bullied and found solace in sports—until an abusive coach killed my love for them.

In my young adult years, I experienced physical abuse and violence.

I found a job that I was great at, but it felt meaningless to me.

I discovered the psych world and got mixed up with a very unhealthy and toxic facilitator.

My physical body was constantly in pain, without any clear explanation from medical doctors.

Through all of this, I learned these lessons:

- I’m not safe. Dissociation is.

- I’m not enough.

- People pleasing is the only way to fit in.

- My value has to be proven and earned or I’ll lose it.

- God couldn’t care less about me.

- I missed my opportunity to be happy in life.

- I’m unlovable.

- There is no hope for my pain.

By my mid‑30s, I had hit a pretty low point in my life. I had never sought help or therapy—not once. But it finally dawned on me that I needed help.

I was guided to Ayahuasca, and that sacred medicine radically altered the course of my life. I learned how to heal my physical body, regulate my nervous system, manage my emotions in healthier ways, shift my belief systems, and reconnect to my truth.

All of that led to the development of Trilome. 🌿

Those lessons I learned earlier — I was completely wrong about all of them! The truth around what I learned, I’ll continue sharing in the coming weeks.

Wings 🪽 have always been a symbol of strength and protection for me.

Most people are surprised to hear me say it. I even had a woman scoff once — but honestly, I can’t wait to get older. Every strand of grey is a *wisdom stripe* I’ve earned through life’s lessons, growth, and healing. 🌿💫
