We love to 🇳🇬! And today, we celebrate the 'a*o ebi' culture of the Nigerian people😁. 'A*o ebi' is a phrase from the Yoruba language and literally means 'family cloth'👗.

Many events🥳 -milestone birthdays, weddings, burials even- are marked by the a*oebi. Family and friends identify with the celebrant(s) of an event by wearing outfits made from a uniform fabric to show their support and solidarity🙂. Sometimes one fabric is chosen and worn by all who want to identify with the celebrant, but in some cases, you may find different categories of persons sporting different a*oebi fabrics, just to add colour 🟣 to the event: the extended family, the children and grandchildren of the celebrant(s), an alumni association and perhaps a committee of friends😄. A Nigerian party or event is always colourful and memorable!😊😌
