Celebrating one of our very own, Oluwateniola Omodunni Asade — a shining example of how a strong foundation can shape an extraordinary future.
At Grange School, excellence is nurtured from the very beginning, and Teni’s journey is a beautiful testament to that legacy. Her story of academic distinction began within the walls of Grange, where she consistently demonstrated brilliance, leadership, and character.
Her achievements at Grange include:
• Dux Scholar (Primary), Class of 2015
• Lead Mentor Girl, 2020
• Dux Scholar, Class of 2020
These milestones were only the beginning. After leaving Grange, Teni continued her academic journey at Sevenoaks School in the UK, where she excelled both academically and as a leader. She served as a prefect and achieved an outstanding 43 points out of a maximum 45 in the International Baccalaureate (IB) examinations — an exceptional accomplishment that reflects global academic excellence.
From there, she proceeded to Yale University, an Ivy League institution in the United States, where she graduated with the Class of 2026, earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with *Magna Cum Laude* honors.
As if that were not remarkable enough, Teni was also inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, America’s oldest and one of its most prestigious academic honor societies. Founded in 1776, Phi Beta Kappa membership is reserved for only a select few — no more than 10% of a graduating class — and at Yale, students are typically elected based on an exceptional record of academic excellence, often reflected in a significant proportion of straight A grades.
Teni’s story is one of consistency, hard work, and the power of a solid educational foundation. From Grange School to Sevenoaks, and onward to Yale, she has continued to embody the values of excellence, leadership, and global impact.
We are immensely proud to celebrate this outstanding alumna whose journey reminds us that great futures are built on strong beginnings.
Congratulations, Teni — your journey is an inspiration to the entire Grange community.
Our Accolades Assembly was a special occasion dedicated to recognising students whose outstanding academic performance reflects discipline, diligence, and a genuine commitment to learning. Each award celebrated not only remarkable results, but also the perseverance and focus required to attain them.
As our special guest, Dr. Sulaimon Olagoke Ogunmuyiwa (Director General, OEQA), aptly remarked, “Everybody will collect award at the end of the day” — a reminder that diligence and consistency always find recognition in time.
We congratulate all students honoured for their achievements and applaud their continued pursuit of excellence in scholarship. Their success stands as a testament to the high academic standards that define the Grange community.
