BOSA CELEBRATE WITH THE OUTGOING PRINCIPAL OF IT'S ALMA MATER.
It was a double celebration for the outgoing principal of Beje High (Senior) School, Oke Agbo, Ijebu Igbo, Pst. (Engr.) Adebola Idowu as he celebrate his retirement from civil service together with his 60th birthday in style, at the school premises on Saturday, 6th November, 2021.
Earlier on Thursday, 4th November, 2021, the pull- out ceremony was held to celebrate his last day in office amid joyful tears from the Students, Staffs , P.T.A members and representatives of the Old Students'Association (BOSA) because his retirement makes saying goodbye so damn hard!
In his welcome address, the outgoing principal, Pst. (Engr.) Adebola Idowu, thanked God for his mercy and also thanked the Students, Staffs, Old Students, P.T.A, friends, family members and well wishers for celebrating with him.
It is however noteworthy to state that he has given the school a new lift in many areas during his short tenure, such as; Purposeful integration with the Old Students, the P.T.A and Oke Agbo community, celebration of the School's 40th anniversary (facilated by the Old Students' Association), construction of toilet facilities and borehole water supply by the Old students Association, construction of modern Library by "BOSA1986 set" (...in progress), excellent S.S.C.E results, commendable conduct of the school students, renovation of dilapidated classrooms and others.
In their own remarks, the students bid their farewell with drama, poem presentation and cultural dance. Testimonies were given about his inspiring personalities, impressive performances and exemplary leadership.
During the presentation of gifts, the representatives of Old Students' Association led by the General Secretary, Dr. Mrs. Mabekoje-Oyesanya Oluwatoyin, and others like the Treasurer, Mrs Olusola Salami-Olowoofayoku, the publicity Secretary, Arc. Macaulay Abiola, the Social Secretary, Hon. Olusoga Sulaiman Alebiosu and POSA Director, Mr. Popoola Oladele Raheem, presented a gift of a new Binatone standing fan to the outgoing principal. In his Keynote address, the BOSA Social Secretary, Hon. Olusoga Sulaiman Alebiosu commended the outgoing principal for his commitment, valuable and impressive contribution towards improving the standard of Beje High School in every aspect and further pray that his retirement becomes the best part of his life.
