NEWS UPDATE - TV5 WORLD INTERNATIONAL PLATFORM DEBUTS IN TASUED
In its drive to be compliant with the best world practices in the teaching and learning of French Language, the Department of French Language of the University was recently linked to the TV5 World Educational Platform.
The Programme trainer, TV5 World Educational, Madame Oluyinka Bello urged participants to take advantage of the modern technology in the learning and teaching of French in schools, adding that the era of using cardboard and other traditional materials as teaching aids is gone, as there are many modern day teaching aids like audio visual materials which can aid knowledge.
Madame Bello, who is a retired Permanent Secretary in Lagos State further noted that with the use of TV5 materials, students of French Language will be more proficient in the language and allow students to be more relevant globally because of the duality of language
In his submission at the occasion, the Head of Department of French, Dr. Femi Babatunde commended TV5 Worldwide for bringing the platform to TASUED, noting that "this pedagogical approach focuses on the oral as well as the use of sound media whether still or moving images, especially dialogues as a starting point for lessons".
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, thereafter, urged students to integrate themselves into the use of audio visual for effective teaching, with an assurance that the University Management will not hesitate in giving full support for the take-off of the project.

There were wild celebration across Tai Solarin University of Education Campus as Com. SANNI RAHMON emerge as the 9th Student Union Presidents
of Tasued for 2016/2017 Academic Session, will be Succeeding (Com. Aje Amidu).
The elections which was held today on the 9th of November, 2016 has \been one of the one successful Student Union Election that has been conducted so far in the history of the University.

It was reported that eight aspirants came out for the Student Union Presidential position which one was screened out due to Security Issue under the constitution of the union.
SANNI RAHMON Standout in the Midst of other candidate with 438 Votes, aganist his opponent, Jimoh Ahmed with 90 Votes, Jerkayinfa Damilola with 106, Okesola Oluwasegun 215 votes, Egunjobi Babatunde 98, James Gbenga 35 Votes, Omoba Micheal 172 Votes. Other results of the elections includes the post of the Vice-President which was keenly contested by AKEWULA KAFAYAT and BADEJO FOLASHADE, however, Akewula Kafayat emerged winner as she certified the electoral request of the election. She got six hundred and twelve (612) while Badejo Folashade. Scored five hundred and Twenty eight (528).

2016/2017 POST-UTME SCREENING EXERCISE
FOR 100 LEVEL AND DIRECT ENTRY (200
LEVEL) CANDIDATES
This is to inform the general public that the POST-
UTME screening exercise of Tai Solarin University of
Education (TASUED) for the 2016/2017 session will
take place as indicated below:
1. THOSE WHO MAY APPLY
(i) Candidates who chose TASUED as their most
preferred institution in the 2016 Unified Tertiary
Matriculation Examination (UTME), and scored a
minimum of 180 in 2016 UTME.
(ii) Direct Entry candidates who chose TASUED as
their most preferred and/or second preferred
institution for the 2016/2017 Academic Session and
have applied through Joint Admissions And
Matriculations Board (JAMB).
(iii) Candidates who chose TASUED as preferred or
seeking a change of institution to TASUED, having
scored a minimum of 180 in 2016 UTME.
(iv) Direct Entry candidates seeking a change of
institution to Tai Solarin University of Education and
obtained 2016 Direct Entry JAMB form.
2. METHOD OF APPLICATION (LOG IN
PROCEDURE)
(i) Candidates should apply online with the payment
of application fee of one thousand naira
( #1,000.00) only.
In addition, a processing fee of six thousand two
hundred naira ( #6,200) only for candidates in the
most preferred category and nine thousand two
hundred naira ( #9200) for categories of candidates
in (iii) and (iv) above seeking change of institution
to TASUED, payable with Master card or VISA ATM
card
(Please print out your receipt after payment)
Visit the TASUED website by typing
www.tasued.edu.ng on the web page.
NB: Only the www.tasued.edu.ng that has the
legitimate and authentic platform for the post
UTME registration form.
(ii) Click Post-UTME Registration Form.
Candidates are strongly advised to click the
University Degree Brochure and carefully study the
O�Level requirements for the courses applied for,
before registration on the TASUED website,
www.tasued.edu.ng
(iii) Complete the Registration Form by providing
the required information;
(iv) Submit your form by clicking submit button.
(v) Print out an identification slip containing your
colour passport photograph. The printed slip will
serve as candidate�s identification/admission card
for the screening test.
(vi) The sale of online form/registration commences
on Friday, 27 May, 2016 and closes Friday,
17 June, 2016.
Note that false information provided by any
candidate shall be detected by the special TASUED
software application and such candidates shall be
disqualified.
3. SCREENING DATES
Screening shall be conducted on Saturday, 18
June and Sunday, 19 June, 2016 for all UTME
candidates at the Main Campus of the
University, Ijagun by 7.00am and 10.00am
respectively.
The screening date for Direct Entry (200 Level)
applicants shall be announced at a later date.
Candidates� participation in the screening
exercise is a mandatory requirement for entry
into Tai Solarin University of Education.

not allowed in the venue of the screening exercise

an hour before the commencement of the exercise.
