Dear Tasuedites,
MY ACCOUNT ON ALLEGATIONS AGAINST ME - (1 out of 10)
20th of February, 2023
On the 13th of February, 2023, At the Business Sitting of the student house of senate, I, *DON SHARON GREAT AYOMIDE* was suspended unjustly on the below grounds:
• Embezzlement of the union funds on different occasions.
• Frequent forgery of the Union General Secretary and Assistant General Secretary signature on correspondences.
• Mismanagement of the union funds.
• Using fake letterhead for administrative purposes.
• Showing of lukewarm attitude towards issue facing Tasuedites and being a money monger.
Since then, numbers of messages have popped into my DMs and I have received numbers of calls requesting me to state my own side of the story, but for the sake of maturity and peace, I had decided to keep mute and just watch how things play out.
However due to the much pressure gotten from concerned Tasuedites, It interests me to address you this day Monday 20th of February, 2023.
First and foremost, I want to assert boldly and firmly that the interest of Tasuedites remains my utmost priority since my emergence into office and this has been the zeal that kept me going and the force that drives me in every of my decision and actions.
The Union Funds that we have received so far in this administration have been judiciously used to the interest of all.
On the 23rd of August 2022, The NANS CONVENTION was scheduled to hold at the Old Parade Ground in Abuja and it lasted for 10 Days , this was during the time of the strike which left us off campus, we were unable to reach the school management through the union letter head as it was in the custody of the General Secretary (Omotere Samuel) who refused to give out the soft copy claiming he was not in possession of it till after the strike, I contacted the Student Union Assistant General Secretary (A.G.S) as the activities of NANS was to come through him as written in the union constitution, I got his consent to produce a new letter head, attached to this release are the screenshot of our conversations.
The student house of senate had accused me of using fake letter head to embezzle money, whereas the letter head I made was used on 4 different occasions;
1. To request for fund for the NANS Convention.
2. For the Extension of E-test and E-exam.
3. For the repair of the union bus.
4. For upgrade of results.
All of which were submitted during the ASUU strike.
A total amount of 318 Thousand Naira was approved by the school management to cater for our welfare in respect to the NANS Convention and this was how it was spent.
The student union Senate president alongside the AGS of the union demanded that I gave them a share of the money claiming they had a right to it.
The Senate President in person of OWOLABI OLUWASEGUN demanded for #30,000 naira from me and QUDUS OLAMILEKAN the A.G.S collected #15,000 naira from me, Attached to this write up are the transaction details. Yet, they claim I have taken the union funds and embezzled it.
I challenge both individual to refute this release if they didn’t demand or receive the money.
These people did not follow us to the NANS CONVENTION where our lives was placed in danger and we experienced a lot of unrest. "He who preaches equity must come with clean hands"
Dear Tasuedites,
The convention which was to last for 3 days eventually lasted 10 days and I was forced to spend beyond the amount received from school and even went to borrowing.
#90, 000 was spent on the feeding of myself and the 2 other comrades who followed me, As each person collected a thousand naira per meal for 10 days, (3,000 naira per day),
#180,00 was used for the hotel room, (9,000 naira per night for 2 rooms),
#90,000 was used on the transportation of going and coming (15k per person).
Summing up to a total amount of #405,000 naira, showing that I had spent even more than was given to me by the school management.
I went to the convention with 2 comrades and comrades (whoever has been to the NANS Convention before will understand who this Comrades are and their roles in safeguarding the lives of student union representatives)
This release will be coming sequentially as this is just 1 out of the 10 in a bid to debunk their lies and refute their conspiracies. Whoever murders sleep will have no eyes to sleep, they have murdered sleep and they shall sleep no more.

*TAI SOLARIN UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION STUDENT'S UNION*
🔱🔱🔱 *TEAM LIBERTY* 🔱🔱🔱
Dear TASUEDites,
History will never forget the good or bad decisions we take especially when it affects thousands of souls. History will never reckon us for good if we have chosen to keep mute like the student's house of senate whom where elected to protect the interest of TASUEDites but choose otherwise.
As you may be aware, there are still 7 newly introduced fees and 2 others increased to be paid by prospective students, our conscience wouldn't allow us rest and allow this striving sould forfeit their admissions because they couldn't make payment.
For clarity sake, below are the 7 newly introduced fees and amount;
1.ICT Access fee ( #3,000)
2. Counselling fee ( #1,000)
3. Security Fee ( #1,000)
4. Sport fee ( #2,000)
5. Students affairs fee ( #2,000)
6. Labouratory fee ( #5,000)
7. Energy fee ( #3,000)
Increased fee
1. Registration fee formerly #25,000 now #30,000
2. Medical fee- formerly #5,000 now #7,000
Hence, our Collective decision to stand against this fees is needed on a massive protest against this unjust and irrational fee. An injury to one is an injury to all.
Join us by 9:15pm as we will be posting with the (Save TASUED prospective students).
Upon the release of this memo, prospective Students are directed not to make these payments as we will ensure this struggle is fought to a reasonable end.
Yours in struggle,
*DON SHARON GREAT AYOMIDE*
