JSS 1 and SSS 2 French students on Thursday, February 15, 2024, embarked on an educational excursion to the Centre for Training and Documentation (CFTD) in Iyaganku, Ibadan, Oyo State.

The purpose of the excursion was to enhance the students' understanding of French language and culture through immersive learning experiences.

Upon arrival at CFTD, students were welcomed by knowledgeable guides who led them through various educational activities such as *Language Workshops*, *Cultural Exhibitions, *Library Access* and *Interactive Sessions*

The excursion to CFTD proved to be a valuable and enriching experience. The immersive activities, cultural exposure, and interactive sessions contributed significantly to their language acquisition and cultural awareness.

The school expresses gratitude to CFTD for hosting the students and providing a conducive environment for learning. This excursion has not only deepened the students' appreciation for the French language but has also broadened their horizons, fostering a global perspective that goes beyond the confines of the classroom.

The JSS 2 and 3 students of our College embarked on an educational excursion to the historic Badagry Slave Port. The purpose of the trip was to enlighten students about the dark chapters of history and the significance of the Badagry Slave Port in Nigeria's past.

The day started with eager anticipation as students, accompanied by dedicated teachers, gathered for this enriching experience. The journey was not only educational but also an opportunity for students to bond and learn outside the confines of the classroom.

The visit to the Badagry Slave Port provided a sobering insight into the transatlantic slave trade, allowing students to connect with the past and appreciate the strides made towards justice and equality. The tour included a guided exploration of the port's historical artifacts, slave cells, and the "Point of No Return."

We are grateful to report that the excursion was conducted smoothly, with the safety and well-being of our students being a top priority. The trip was made possible through the cooperation and support of both the teaching staff and the parents, whose encouragement and involvement contributed to the success of this educational endeavour.

We thereby extend our sincere gratitude to God for the safe journey and the opportunity to instill knowledge and awareness in our students. We believe that experiences like these shape the minds of our future leaders.
