EID MESSAGE: A Call to Purposeful Parenting.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullāhi wa barakātuh.

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of mercy and wisdom, who has granted us the gift of children and the honour of being their first guides on the path of truth.

As we mark this noble celebration of Eid, may joy fill our homes and may our hearts be drawn closer to the essence of what it means to be stewards of the next generation.

Parenting in Islam is not a passive task. It is tarbiyah—a deliberate, value-driven nurturing of the soul, character, and intellect. In these challenging times, our children need not only our love but also our presence, our vision, and our example.

Let this Eid be a reminder that:

Every smile we offer,

Every bedtime du'ā we whisper,

Every boundary we lovingly set,

And every moment we spend teaching the Qur’an or modelling good akhlāq—
is an act of worship and a seed sown for eternal reward.

Let us renew our intention to parent with purpose, to lead our homes with taqwa, and to raise children who are not only knowledgeable but God-conscious, kind-hearted, and resilient.

O Allah, grant us wisdom in our decisions, gentleness in our discipline, and sincerity in our efforts. Make our children the coolness of our eyes and leaders of the righteous.
