Today, We join thousands of Nigerian Students and entire Students of Chukwuemeka Odumegwe Ojukwu University to felicitate with Her President His Excellency, Comr. Kizito Chukwujekwu Okemadu (Sir Kizzy ) regarding the landmark occasion of his birthday Anniversary.

We lack Words to use and describe a dogged leader and An influencer who doubles as a Ebullient Student Unionist both in COOU, Anambra State and Nigeria as a whole.

As a Union Government President, Comr. Kizito C. Okemadu , has continued to show his abiding faith in the cause of discharging his duties as the Union leader by Protecting the Interest and right of the Students and also giving out a helping hands to then by attracting various Scholarship schemes and employment opportunities to all who are dearly in need and also helps in progressive Nation building .

Indeed, Comr. kizzy had portrayed a vision for COOU, He strongly believe that COOU must be restored to it’s past supremacy by remaining conversant with Changes whilst upholding and preserving the Identity of COOU

Solidarity Greetings from the Students Union Council of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University.

We humbly wish to use this platform to officially inform all amiable Students of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University concerning the recent developments on ground.

Sequel to the confirmed killing of Fulani herdsmen and their livestock at Igbariam Junction where student’s reside, the Student’s Union hereby beckons on all students within and outside the school environ not to panic as the Union alongside the University management and Anambra state government have made necessary security arrangements including providing Army patrol teams and other relevant security outfits who would mount strategic locations 24/7 to ensure maximum security is enforced.

However, kindly note that no student was attacked or harmed.
It is equally crucial to note that academic activities continues as usual and the university management pledges to ensure that the welfare and safety of the student remains uncompromised.

In conclusion, we urge all eagles and falcons to stay safe and desist from all forms of night activities within and outside the university environment.

Solidarity Greetings from the Students' Union Government Secretariat.

We humbly wish to use this platform to officially inform all amiable Eagles and Falcons of COOU about the new developments on ground.

Firstly, we thank God for his grace and infinite mercies upon the lives of the entire staff & student community of this noble institution and with a very heavy & sober heart, we mourn the sudden death of two of our promising young female students, Miss Anyachor Maureen (Mandy), a student of English department, Miss Anusionwu Ifeome a student of Philosophy department and Abadiba Loveline Ogechukwu a finial year English Education student; who lost their lives in the fatal motorcycle accident that occurred on 13th and 15th November 2020 along ezinkwo otoko road leading to the university campus.

However, from our findings, the accident occurred due to the recklessness of the motorcycle rider alongside the hostile activities of the vigilante group attached to the check-point.

At this sensitive moment, we plead with all students of this great institution to stay calm as the Students Union Government, National Association of Nigerian Student’s (NANS) , National association of university student’s (NAUS) alongside the university management are working tirelessly to ensure that safety measures are put in place to totally halt such occurrences happening around the school environment.

Lastly, be informed that the university wide quiz slated to commence tomorrow has been postponed till Monday 23rd, November 2020 other related & relevant information would be updated in due course.

We solemnly pray for divine blessings and the protection of almighty God upon the lives of all amiable eagles and falcons of COOU.
