The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Chidozie Nwafor, a seasoned researcher and lecturer in the Psychology department of Nnamdi Azikiwe University. He began by introducing himself and welcoming everyone to the workshop. He stated that acquiring skills as a student is essential.
He then proceeded to explain what SPSS is and its importance in data analysis.
Dr. Nwafor then went on to teach the members how to navigate through SPSS using a step-by-step approach. He explained how to open a new data file, input data into SPSS, and how to save data files for future use. He also taught members how to clean up their data by removing outliers and missing values.

Dr. Nwafor also taught members how to run inferential statistics such as t-tests, ANOVA, correlation analysis, and regression analysis using SPSS. Members were exposed to practical examples of research questions that could be answered using these statistical tests.
The workshop was highly interactive as members were encouraged to ask questions whenever they needed clarification on any topic being discussed. Members, who were present with their laptops had SPSS installed on their computers for further practice.
At the end of the workshop, members expressed their gratitude for the opportunity given them to learn about SPSS. They commended Dr. Chidozie Nwafor for his excellent facilitation skills and his ability to simplify complex statistical concepts into easy-to-understand terms.

*WORLD SU***DE PREVENTION DAY*
September 10th
It Is Very Sad That People Are Driven To Take Their Own Lives By Their Problems But All We Can Do Is Offer Our Help To People In Need. If You Find Someone In Your Office Or At Your College Or At Your School Morose And Upset Please Go Ahead And Ask What The Matter Is Because Talking Helps.
It Is A Sincere Request To Everyone To Never Judge People Unnecessarily Because No One Knows How Difficult It Is To Stand In Somebody Elseโs Shoes. We Find Many People Who Are Always Ready To Criticize People Who Have Committed Su***de But We Seldom Find People Who Are Ready To Help The Suicidal Ones.
Su***de Is Not An Easy Thing To Commit And If You Are Willing To Put In So Much Effort In Taking Your Life, You Can Also Put In Thร t Much Of Effort In Trying To Solve The Problem.
Even A Single Person Committing Su***de Is Dangerous Because It Gives The Impression To The Other People That The Best Way To Deal With Life Is By Dying.
When You Commit Su***de, You Are Killing Yourself And Escaping But You Are Leaving Your Family Members To Be Haunted Forever With The Memories Of Your Death And That Is The Worst Form Of Torture Ever.
Problems In Love Life, Problems In Academic Life, Problems In Professional Life, Whatever The Problem Might Be, Committing Su***de Is Never The Solution. Student Su***de Is On A Rise And It Is Of Great Importance To Look Into The Matter And Resolve It.
On This Su***de Prevention Day, I Hope There Is More Number Of Help Centers To Help The People Who Are Depressed And Suicidal.
