Today make it exactly 10 years that kogi lost Prince Abubakar Audu Adoja. Former Governor of Kogi State.

Prince Abubakar Audu projects before his death 👇

1. Upgrading Lugard House into ultramodern government house

2. Built Kogi State University, Anyigba
3. Built Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja
4. Built 250 units of 1st and 2nd housing units in Lokoja
Built House of Assembly complex

5. Built commissioner's quarter
6. Built House of Assembly Quarters
7. Established Graphics Newspaper
8. Established Kogi State transport company called Kogi travellers

9. Built office complex for all the ministries in Lokoja
10. Constructed 2500km roads in all 21 LGAs

11. Built Confluence Stadium in Lokoja which Ibro later upgraded to ultramodern stadium in Lokoja

12. Transformation of Lokoja township with asphalt roads, street lights, aesthetic roundabouts

13. Construction of inter-township roads
14. Over 75 electrification scheme
15. Over 50 water projects
16. Pioneered first ultramodern state liaison office in Abuja

17. Built Confluence Beach Hotel
18. He also took steps to woo investors which gave birth to establishment of Obajana cement plant; a project which was ongoing before he left office

19. Establishment of Government Girls Secondary School, Adankolo, on students exchange program

20. Affiliation of Kogi State University to Morgan State University, Baltimore which had over 7 professors from different Universities in the US lecturing in Kogi State University, Anyigba

All this and many more; all in a single tenure of 4 years with accumulative Allocation of 19billion the state received within that 4 years period

Note: Under he watch Kogi was ranked as the fastest developing State in Nigeria. He was the first Governor in history of Nigeria to become Chairman, Nigeria Governor's Forum from opposition party and also won awards as the Best governor in Nigeria even though he was in opposition party.
